There don't seem to be many good matches in IW today. Nothing exciting. I see PHH didn't get through to play Kyrgios, sadly. It would have been good to see a rematch!

Also I noticed Djok and Foggy are playing doubles together - seems an unlikely duo!!

Gael is getting into a big argument with the ump in his match - he said he was distracted by a (wrong) line call and hit the ball out. He wantsvto replay the point but the ump says no. Monfils is looking none too impressed.

So, Rafa starts his campaign later today (far too late for me to get a chance to see it, though , probably)- and I see Serena is playing Garbine. I know who I want to win that one!

Is Serena the one player we all agree about?

I think Kevin has had that same elbow injury since he had to hit approx 5 million serves when he played Isner at Wimbledon! Well I don't know if that was really the reason (probably) but I think he had it in the final against Djok and it still flares up from time to time.

I can't see Garbine beating Serena though, can anyone else? You never know I suppose.

I can't believe Rafa is only playing his first match today, they're dragging it out, aren't they?! Does Roger play today as well?

I saw Pete Sampras was at Djok's match yday - Djok's "idol" he apparently. Nice of him to turn up, I think Novak would have appreciated that after Sampras attended Federer's record breaking GS final (but not Novak's - or Rafa's AFAIK).

Poor Kev- yup, the Isner match has had many far reaching consequences.

I think it's a tall order for Garbine- she struggles a bit on hard courts.

Just saw roger and his opponent being delivered to the court on a golf buggy - was very odd
