Destiny is glorious trash. I really shouldn’t, but I rather like it already. Makeover in ep 2: FL has enormous eyes - she’s like Bambi.

It's shocking! I've just swept all downstairs and cleaned the kitchen and I'm thinking.. I've got 30 mins to spare!... I'm watching a bit of "Blood" 😁😭😂... And I stayed up till 1 last night! 🤣😱😱😱

I stayed up far too late last night too, but I am gripped by Destiny despite (or perhaps because of) the cheesiness. FL is currently reprising (or piloting) the meek mouse role she played so well at the start of Empress, though I am sure her confidence will bloom under ML’s expert tutelage. There have already been CJH scenes, but the set up means this will likely increase significantly now. I’m seeing huge potential.

But I am so, so tired. 😞 I really needed a 🥾🍑 last night.

I was out last night but due to quaffing gin & red wine I fell asleep while watching Touch Your Heart. However feel weirdly virtuous for a) having a social life and b) being asleep before 1am.

I'm glad I'm not the only one keeping ridiculous hours then! 🤣😂

I don’t know what’s hooked me in so much with this one. It’s not just CJH in his prime, though it is lovely seeing him & Empress interacting so gently again. There’s something about the set-up which is crack-like. I’m not struck on ML - his laugh is (perhaps deliberately) annoying and his teeth are distracting (you’ll see what I mean if you watch it), but he is more attsactive when he’s looking thoughtful. However, he has decent chemistry with FL & I think that will carry this one.

Yawn! I'm beginning to drop off! Need an early night tonight! But... Tonight is my last chance for staying up at ridiculous hours as Dh will be back tomorrow! Harrumph! 🤣😂😱

I've just finished Joseon vampires in guyliner aka Scholar Who Walks the Night and am going to head over to You Are My Destiny

I am watching the weekly episodes of Radiant / The Light In Your Eyes (Viki) and trying really hard to like it as I feel I should but I just don't.

Destiny is a touch uneven in places, especially the madcap bits, but I’d say the good outweighs the bad. I’m up to ep 4 and suspect the FL may be in for a spell of being treated appallingly by ML (so far, so Empress) before everyone sorts themselves out. This is likely when CJH’s character emerges as a safe harbour in a storm. Again, parallels with Empress.

Bettys... This week I've been watching...

The Rebel... Joseon Robin Hood... Only 6 more eps! Still loving it but needed a little break!
Blood... Vampire doctor which is really good and I'm speeding through it.. On ep 10 and I've just had a blub
Vampire Detective... Started off very exciting but feels a bit formulaic in the middle
Clean with Passion (with Joseon Robin Hood)... Just had a quick start with it and looks promising will go back to it!
Thirty but Seventeen... Again good... Will go back
And there's a ton on my list to watch on netflix... Saving myself for the big Toasty LJS binge! From the sounds of it from you and Boatyard it sounds like a good un! 👍👍😁❤️

Jung Hae In (officer lovely WYWS & something in the rain!)... Is absolutely lovely in Blood! Will look forward to seeing him as ML in a good drama where its not doom angst laden! (SITRain!) ❤️... He'd deffo be good fun in the pub!!

CJH in white suit? (Photo shoot) Oh yes! He totally pwned the male lead in the running in the park episode earlier. Must be embarrassing to be so effortlessly outgunned by your 2ML in every scene you appear in together.
