Claudia brought out the humour in Patrick IMO. She used to gently take the piss and he loved it. He's also quite funny on Twitter.

Joe Lycett said that he really enjoyed making the series, so I think the chemistry probably worked well between everybody. Clearly he and Esme got on like a house on fire as they were out on the piss together when he did his interview with RHLSTP.

Has anyone been watching Made in Great Britain on BBC2 this week? It has quite a makey-crafty vibe, crossed with the historical segments from the early series of Bake Off. I quite like it.

There are several books!!! How do I know which to order?

Two of them seem to be the same one going by the comments (must be different editions).

Another one was £84 - no chance I'll be buying that one!

Made in Great Britain has been on iPlayer for a while. Keith from Throw Down is in one of the episodes.

This is the one I've got...It's fab...proper full sized patterns and detailed "how to do it properly instructions".
What's not to love?

Made in Britain is good. The episode about chocolate was very interesting.

I'll be watching Sewing Bee just because I like Joe Lycett. I wouldn't bother watching it otherwise.
