I rather like Marius.I dont think he is meant be a gung ho type -more an idealist and a dreamerAlthough the fact he recently played Laurence in the Durells distracts me a bit.It's Cossete that annoys me more and I can't say why.
Agree the girl playing Eponine is great.

Oh my goodness! That was an action packed episode. And poor Eponine! Very very good. As I don't know this can't join in with the singing, but can't wait to see how it all ends next week. This is a fabulous series. What Sunday nights in winter are made for! Smile

Eponine is so much more likeable than spoilt teenager Cosette. And much as I like the actor playing Marius (loved him in The Durrells), he really isn't the handsome lad portrayed in the book.

Everyone loves Eponine though. When DD's school did Les Mis, Eponine was the part all the girls were vying for; she's the feisty one. (Poor Dd ended up as second Lovely Lady on the right).
