The judges are bad enough oiling round some celebrities (Penny Lancaster - remember that farce?) God alone knows what they would be like in the presence of royalty, even spongers like the Yorks.

I'd love Greg Davies to do Strictly.

Her Maj is a pretty nifty dancer I’m told. If she can jump out of a helicopter for Danny Boyle she might be up for an AT with Anton.

I would make an exception for Our Own Dear Queen fleas.

I think that Chris Evans would be voted off early. He irritates lots of people, and he's unlikely to be adept.

Christ, the man is a walking ego. Can't stand him. Hope he's nowhere near it.

Yeah Chris Evans made it quite clear that he'd love to do strictly next year, partly because his wife adored being there for the final and quite fancied being front row most weeks!

Chris Evans runs marathons so he is fit and also quite stubborn. I wouldn't put it past him to get some early training in to improve his suppleness and performance skills so he makes it beyond the early weeks.

He's a massive Strictly fan too, so that enthusiasm might come across well. There's nothing more irritating than a sleb who looks like they hate the whole Strictly training, dancing and glitz (Suzanna ).

I didn't think I'd like Deborah Meaden but she won me over with her joy for the whole learning to dance 'journey'. She's still my fave for the 'look at a me I'm properly dancing' face!

New producer has only just started. How can Chris Evans already be confirmed? Maybe he wants to do it and is putting public pressure on them?

Tbf he’s be a big name for them to pull. There are irritating ones every year but the format does dilute them.

I loved Deborah. She clearly enjoyed it and felt privileged to be involved. Likewise, Susan Calman.

Every time I see ‘Chris Evans’ I think Capt America and am disappointed.
So my suggestion is to have everyone called Chris.
I’m sure we can come up with enough.

Looks like Giovanni & Ashley are on holiday together (not confirmed but it's pretty blatant). I hope they can make it work together, they might be a good fit.

I can't see Giovanni making it last - how long was he with Georgia May Foote for before that fizzled out? He seems a bit of a player to me...

He broke Georgia's heart, she was apparently gutted when he ended it.

How do you know they are on holiday together? Are they posting from same location? I love a bit of Strictly gossip!
