I am in absolute stitches watching this show

It was better when Cathy just bragged a lot and made sly digs. Hopefully the punch is a sort of line in the sand moment and they'll tone the character down a bit.

I've binge watched

Cathy is awful and Christine too. Beth is such a wet blanket I wouldn't stand for any of that

But I still laugh out loud at it

No, it really isn't. I only watched 10 minutes, though. I'm watching series 1, episode 1 now - it's certainly a programme that gets better with time.

I can't remember seeing Sophie - just hearing Christine talking about her. I wonder if I have missed the first series?

And is Mum back on? I LOVED that - it was hilarious, but so gentle.

Arabellas family are all Scottish, her parents left Scotland but all her relatives on both sides are.

Sophie was in series 1 &2 she is the girl who was in my mad fat diary on ch4 blew my mind when I realised she was scottish

Just watching the first series now - have to admit that if I'd seen the pilot when it came out, I wouldn't have bothered with the series - so I'm pleases I didn't.

The outdoor shots in the new series are shot in Hamilton. One of the house owners in Bishopbriggs had a falling out with the production crew apparently.

Which part of Bishopbriggs is it in? What is it near? It looks familiar but even with the street name I can't quite place it.

It's the furthest most part of the meadiwburn loop, where the contentious new house are being built.

I found this by accident in the first series. Have loved it since.
