Well that was obviously the right decision, Lauren should be really proud of herself though she made it much further than I thought she was capable of going by her first couple of dances. She and AJ were very sweet about each other, that looks like a lovely friendship.

I think we all know Ashley won't win. I thinks it's something the producers of the show need to look at. But I don't know what the answer is... is it a popularity contest? Or a dance contest? Or who made the most improvement/learned most?

Think Joe will win - but I don't want him to.

Ashley (for me) is just going through the motions - no real passion. She’s good but isnt exciting in the same way Faye is.

How on earth is Ashley going to motivate herself in training this week? She looked so deflated at the end.

Joe and Dianne are great together. He'll have to dye his hair, and her parents will fly over to support her. Lovely.

All the contestants will be back next week. I'll have forgotten one or two, definitely.

I'dbe happy for any one of them to win it tbh. Even Ashley now!

Last year all contestants did all three dances. Judges choice, their own favourite and the show dance then the public vote for their favourite.

I don't think it's the fact that Ashley is an American and or a ringer the reason why people aren't voting for her anymore.

Ashley was FURIOUS! I’m not a massive fan but it’s harsh to realise you’re so unpopular - she was high on the leaderboard so must have got the lowest public vote again.
I agree she might struggle with motivation for next week

A little late to this thread, but have been watching the show since the beginning. It has dawned on us that blooming Joe Suggs is going to win if the final is all down to the public vote. There's no way he should be in the final, Charles and Danny were much better dancers than he is.

Personally my family are team Stacey, but I def think the final 3 women are the best dancers, with Faye and Ashleigh top.

Assumiibg some strictly production staff read this, i think it would have been better if they'd had a three-way DO in semi-final. So tonight it could have been Joe, Lauren and Ashley and only one going through.

You don't need four for the final. The extra person is just to guard against those occasions when someone has left the show early due to Injury etc.

Oh no Ashley was fewmmin at the end. I'm happy with the final 4. Really looking forward to seeing the final on Saturday night

The way he looks at her, that can’t just be the performance.

Faye's AT was excellent and I was amazed that she was so fast with her leg work having such long legs to contend with.
.Asley's Paso I found OTT and seemed too theatrical and not spanish enough for me. I really feel sorry for her always being in the bottom 2 but she does dance like she is on the stage and dancing only to the audience of a large auditorium. I can't see any personal dislike about her, though.

As much as I like Joe, his dancing is poor, but after all the high marks and love from the panel of judges, I would have felt sorry for him if he-had been in the bottom 2. But he deserved to be.

Don't think Lauren was surprised her time had come.

Now to Tracey. she lacks the balletic grace in her arms and hands that is used in the Foxtrot and Waltz and American Smooth.
Has she avoided the Rumba? I was not keen on her Paso - more like the bull than the cloak, especially her stomping runs.

Absolutely gorgeous and gives me a tingling feeling in the back of my neck.

If Faye can act then she has a chance to star in a dancing musical in the West End.
