When I had my first DC I quickly ran out of mega san pro. I asked DH to go to the local chemist as it was nearest. I said they'll know what you'll need for me. Nope, they were useless! I'm still disgusted all these years later that they said they didn't know what a post partum bleeder particularly needed.
He's really great at getting the right sanitary stuff, no embarrassment but wasn't sure on that occasion.
