Mark hasn’t proposed in a while so I’m betting that he will once he finds out his results!

Can someone explain what season it’s meant to be please? We have the storyline with Ellie being too hot in school and Susan saying it’s the summer holidays soon. But everyone else is wearing winter clothes! Bea has that awful jumper and dungarees, Susan’s in a jumper, Mark’s in jeans and a long sleeved top. I’ve looked at the weather in Melbourne and it’s meant to be high 30s (I am aware that it is filmed ahead of time!)

I did get the irony of Susan and "they shouldn't wear extra layers, it's hot" whilst wearing a jumper. And surely Jane fro m England would feel the heat more not less?

Ahhh noooo just thought I would read this thread as I am the only neighbours fan I know (apart from DP)

Today I am wearing leather trousers at work and I justified it to myself that Elly wears leather skirts and works with kids so its ok. Now I know this isn't ok so I've literally got my coat over my legs and hoping that I am the only one in the office all day!

Paul’s breath was foggy when they where outside the other day so assumed it was still early spring (their seasons) when filmed. Are they going to go into Xmas mode??

They must be as I thought the reason why we had a big break last year (?!) was so we could be on the same timescale as them. That’s why you don’t get any good spoilers anymore.

chunky episodes are filmed at least 10-12 weeks ahead, sometimes more. So stuff being filmed now will be shown early March or thereabouts. We used to be months behind Australia as to when we saw the episodes, but that decreased each year due to them taking a production break and we’ve been at the same stage as them since early 2016 I think. The reason they aren’t taking a break this year is because they’ve filmed extra episodes throughout the year, as the new format is to show festive episodes right through Christmas and New Year. The cast will still get a long Christmas production break as they’ve worked more filming extra episodes all year and have staggered their holidays throughout the year to allow for this.
