Middle yes all the denim clad book group ladies were in Prisoner - I especially loved the not so subtle pic of Dr K with the roses, which lead in to he used to bring me roses

Clawdy when one of the book group was told she was being as quiet as a mouse, her nick name in Prisoner was Mouse

I picked up on Fletch the Letch but didn't cotton on.
I knew the ladies from Cell Block H were having a cameo but again I didn't pay attention so the book group ladies went well and truly over my head.

They re-ran it at some point in the UK. I remember coming in late (and drunk) and watching it in my teens. Also waking up on the sofa as it finished. It was on after midnight I think.

I didn’t get any of the references as I never watched it (too young) but I had seen somewhere a neighbours thing about it being 40 years old or something and knew Sheila had been in it.

I didn’t realise Fletch the Letch was a character. I was laughing at the fourth wall being tampered with 😂
