Thanks sleeping. The old bugger also said "You know they're not real people, don't you?" So I gave him a list of which neighbours characters I'd rather shag than him 🤣

MerdedeBrexit · 30/01/2019 14:11

MorningsEleven - enquiring minds need to know the list of Neighbours characters you'd rather shag than your old bugger? Grin

costacoffeecup · 30/01/2019 14:15

I had a baby six days ago so I'm a little emotionally stretched anyway but I'm finding the Sonya thing so upsetting. And this is going to go on til March is it?

I'm afraid I'm not a fan of Toadie's acting but Sonya was brilliant today when she asked Karl about survival rates.

MorningsEleven · 30/01/2019 14:20

Tyler
Ned
Tyler again, just to be sure
Aaron - he looks like he's got good personal hygiene
Mark, if I had insomnia
Chloe
Shane Rebecchi but I'd bring my own drink
Have I mentioned Tyler?
Paul
Oh, and also Tyler.

MerdedeBrexit · 30/01/2019 14:32

Thanks, Mornings - food for thought, indeed Grin
I’m extremely old, so only Paul and Dr Clive are on my list Grin Trying to think of a suitable toy-boy for me, but Tyler certainly not my type!

MorningsEleven · 30/01/2019 14:47

I'm of a certain vintage but I'm optimistic about my chances with the Brennan family 🤣

MorningsEleven · 30/01/2019 16:33

I had a baby six days ago so I'm a little emotionally stretched

Probably not just emotionally ☺

Congratulations 🌺.

MorningsEleven · 30/01/2019 16:35

Have you given the baby a fish name to honour the Rebecchi family?

CurbsideProphet · 30/01/2019 16:36

Congratulations @costacoffeecup Flowers
I might have to fast forward some of Sonya's scenes, as I'm finding it sad already.

Starburst8 · 30/01/2019 17:50

@CurbsideProphet I'm a blubbering wreck already. It's gonna be hard to watch.

Cherrypie32 · 30/01/2019 18:48

God first Cold Feet and now Neighbours have floored me with their cancer storylines this week. I’ve always liked the Sonya actress and thought she was brilliant today. I was also struck by how much weight Toadie has lost!

Piglet208 · 30/01/2019 18:51

The painful realisation on Sonia's face as she took in what Karl was saying to her was heartbreaking. I really like her as an actress and I think both her and Toady are understated in their performances. This is going to be unbearable.

CurbsideProphet · 30/01/2019 19:30

When Sonya said "It's weird being back. Nothing's changed, but everything has" Sad Sad

Notreallyhere2 · 30/01/2019 20:05

Gosh it was sad today. I’m feeling a bit low anyway but I feel proper unhappy now Sad

BreconBeBuggered · 30/01/2019 20:45

God, I could feel that sense of terrible unreality before Sonia even said that about everything changing. I was glad I'd sent my menfolk off to Aldi so that I could sob without witnesses/pisstakers.

MiddleClassProblem · 30/01/2019 21:42

costacoffeecup congratulations! I was a crying mess without watching sad plots on telly 😕

Today was tough. Sonya and Karl 😭😭😭

GoldenSyrupLion · 30/01/2019 21:51

Yes Karl Sad

Notreallyhere2 · 30/01/2019 21:54

Yes, I know Karl can be a bit of an idiot at times but with things like this he (the actor) can really do it well- he genuinely looked devastated.

Flashinggreen · 30/01/2019 22:03

😢

SleepingStandingUp · 30/01/2019 23:52

Congrats on your baby Costa.
So, in Costa Rica (see what I did) the first fish to come up was the Dorada.

So congratulations on the safe arriv of Dorado Fish

I've not watched and won't get chance rest of week. Monday I'll catch up and have a cry whilst my X-ray Fish is at nursery

Congratulations Costa. 👶

I found everyone else's story, apart from Toadie and Sonia and Karl, immensely annoying today. It's hard when they're doing such a difficult and intense storyline to give a fig about Mannix etc.

I thought that was a very good idea including the bit with Mark being fed up with Toadie.

I remember a friend who's family member had a cancer diagnosis and saying how extraordinary it was coming out from the diagnosis and everyone in the world else going on as normal. Sad

noenergy · 31/01/2019 09:44

So sad, very upsetting.

But to me it's all a bit unbelievable that's she's stage 4 and it's spread to her brain. Surely if it showed if in her blood tests when heather was giving her blood tests then something unusual would have showed up then and then her long stay in hospital after the pesticide poisoning then there would have been lots of tests and scans and now a month later it's spread all over!!!

costacoffeecup · 31/01/2019 13:28

Thanks everyone! My partner's on paternity leave and I'm making him watch neighbours with me, he keeps pretending to be on his phone but I know he'll get sucked in eventually...

MiddleClassProblem · 31/01/2019 20:57

I can’t believe Bea apparently put w lot of effort into the hen’s night idea and it was so crap! And she’s made Mark joining the police all about her...

Why does it always come back to sex with Gary? (Shudder)

NymphInYellow · 31/01/2019 21:07

Bea strops about everything.

Totally had to re-read your post middle as I was wondering how the hell I'd missed Bea having sex with Gary! Maybe a bit of 🐞 would put a smile on her face.
