I must say I was more gutted that Johannes wasn't a pro than Neil. I saw some of his choreo on SADWTS and was looking forward to him.

In fairness, some people stuck up for (n) and Danny and keeeepppptttt dancing but at least the bit of sleb twaddle that comes up on here isn't as remotely as bad as some of the hater type threads. Graeme only came up in convo as he didn't let on to finally on Saturday - and he did stir the pot wrt to (presumably) Danny on a podcast a few weeks ago - anyone on this show would know that alluding to a couple not getting on/with the others is just not cricket.
But yes - the dances - I am amazed I had never heard the Big Country cover before and I am now looking forward to Chucky's tango.
I am not looking forward to Jumping Around, sorry Joe, please surprise me!

In other news, a 'people's champion' has ended up winning DWTS. They've had them in the finals before but they don't usually win.

Agree about it not being comfy in the audience- we had to get a DRs note to take food & insulin in for my mom. The mothership has an iron bladder - I inherited the tiny bladder of my dad’s family and had to not drink very much that day! Anita’s lovely guests let me use the VIP posh loo luckily!

I like Sharna but not winning like that even if her and James were robbed. Keo's initial reaction was hilarious.

Just watched ITT and thought it was interesting that Faye and Joe Varney were meant to be doing an American Smooth this week, but Joe got injured on Monday and so they changed to a waltz on Tuesday. I wonder if this happens often and how it might muck up the producer's plans?

Btw, I've always loved the Dee C Lee song they're dancing to but now it's an ear worm that I can't get rid of!

Yes and No - you can fake it most of the time but under pressure and with camera on in training/paps following you/non-verbal body language it's harder to be 'on'/act as a different persona non-stop.
Plus never underestimate the power of an edit - it has happened in DWTS that slebs are portrayed as ambitious or diva or aggro if producers want to make that their story. Shirley's son Mark used to tell his partners never to watch the vts before they were due to dance.

Yes, I thought it quite funny that Dan said he likes to see beginners learn week by week and not dance brilliantly from week 1 (exactly how I feel) and then Robbie made his comment.
