My favourite winner to this day has to be Alesha Dixon

She really was fantastic wasn’t she. That salsa was fantastic.

I think Vick was very gracious on ITT and didn’t point any fingers.

I can be sad she’s gone because I did vote for her this week. Especially as I think Seannn isn’t that great.

Oooh forgotten about Kara, she was a beautiful dancer as well.
Matt Dawson the rugby player, ended up being very good as well he was really self conscious when he started.

Did they use to do pro dancers which were just one couple or a few couples im not sure if im imaging it or if im thinking dancing to guest singers, but i remember a James and Ola Rumba
As good as the pro dancers are sometimes there is just too much going on i dont know where to look, id prefer just a few couples. That been said i really enjoyed the pro dance which was a catwalk last year, Oti was amazing in it

Kara Tointon was in the only series of Strictly that I missed (series 8). I've seen every other one. I had thought that I'd seen Anne Widdecombe but she was series 8 so I've seen enough of the repeats of her dances over the years to make me think that I saw her appearance at the time. False memory syndrome or something.

I thought i remembered pro dances with just the one couple, but in the early series didnt most pros have specific dance partner, not just the married ones, now the pros seem to change who they dance with each week.

I've thought again about the Vick DO and I was wondering if it was between the two DANCES because the cha cha is a difficult dance and the quick step is a load of running, so easy for Seann, he did hold his upper line well in the DO too. He better not win !!!!!!!

Shirley is slippery.

I liked Darren thingy, cricketer, danced with Lilia. I remember Arlene saying they made ballroom dancing sexy, which hit the nail on the head. They were wonderful to watch.

I loved seeing Lilia and Darren on ITT. Lilia is my all time favourite pro - she was so good and such a wonderful teacher. And I'll say it again - Aled woz robbed ! Grin

I don't know what the conflab was before Vicks DO - but I tend to believe the BBC that it was just technical logistical stuff - Alfonso was new judge maybe just running it through with him or something.

When it all boils down - Vick was the lowest scored on the night, so she basically already knew the judges decision - she didn;t so much dance badly as have a bad dance, whereas Seannnn danced badly, so he had more room to improve in the DO (I don't think he did improve actually - but he was still initially scored higher than Vick)

Graziano is the wrong type of dancer for this show - he might be very good at what he does, but not sure he has the right dance background. Vick also mentioned the language barrier on ITT - which must have made teaching and learning more difficult. That said, I thought he came over as a nice chap on ITT, but I still don't want him back next year.

I suspect the PTB were looking for a new Gleb and thought Graziano fitted the bill. Which is slightly insulting to the audience if that is the case.
