Someone that Joe McFadden worked with on Casualty, David Paisley, claimed on Twitter that Joe cornered him in a night club and threatened him (to make sure that David didn't reveal that they had had an affair/ONS I think). David was rescued by his friends and led away in tears. Joe denies it ever happened. It was around the time that he was in the final I think.

Darren and Lilya used to be my favourites, dont they do work on international versions of SCD, im not sure which country but ive read it somewhere before

Darren and Lilya are choreographers/technical advisers on Irish Dancing with the Stars. Darren was a judge for a few weeks when one of the regular judges was off sick, he was very good. They should replace Shirley with him IMO.

I bet if we looked at old SCD videos we’d be surprised at how far the standard of dancing has come. The judging on the other hand....

Fuzzy, I am envious of those who watched scd in the early days, as I didn’t start watching until a couple of years ago.

I have since watched dances on YouTube from earlier series, and I’m not sure whether I’m right here, but the pros seem more professional and of a higher calibre than the ones we have atm.

The group dances seem to be better synchronised and more about dancing than the theme; last night’s group dance was boring. Even the camera work seems miles better than the whizzing around that we get on the current series.

My first series was the one Mark Ramps won. I still think about that Argentine Tango. It was just stunning.

It was Encyclo! It was quite a fixation for me too. I had it recorded, fortunately or I would have worn out YouTube!

Actually, the first Argentine Tango done by Flavia and Vincent as professionals was my real wow moment.

That is incredible stuff from Vincent and Flavia. They just owned that dance.

I've watched every series except number 2.. adore it still although it has changed massively (really hate the props!). The only thing I truly miss though is the exquisite group dances by the professionals. I've really disliked those I've seen this year (Harry Potter, ffs). They used to showcase the dances the celebs had to perform the next week and were always 5☆ in my opinion. Some of the previous pro dancers have been wonderful - I really liked Matthew Cutler and Ian Waite.. loved Brendan too and am sad he's no longer dancing!

My favourite winner to this day has to be Alesha Dixon - she embraced it and as a contestant she was fun and talented and utterly stunning. Her partnership with Matt was inspired - they just worked so intuitively and so many of they dances are in my Top 10.

It's a fun time of the year for me. I run a sweepstake & like Oubliette, I picked Graeme this year. Love Oti! Love Strictly!
