Tennis thread: towards the end of the season, lots of tennis still to be played!

Hi all, I wasn't sure if Raahh was around so I thought I would start a new thread (thanks ferrier) in case of any urgent tennis news that we might need to start posting about immediately! I'm looking forward to Shanghai this week

I have become fond of Keith this year. I don't know how that happened!

Fizzy I reckon the mascot would be super keen for that!!

Keith seems like a lovely bloke. He took his dog onto court when he won in Vienna . That makes him ok, in my book .

I don't think I can warm to Keith. Unless he beats Djok and Fed, and then I might change my mind.

I just think Djok could make mincemeat of everyone left in the draw. Including Federer. Actually maybe not the mascot - he looked pretty invincible

I really wish I could watch, some of the matches today look great. Thiem v Coric could be a battle. Cilic and Dimitrov will have them both desperately tying to salvage the year. And I always have a soft spot for the ' diminutive' Schwartzman.

Yes considering a few players have dropped out, there are still some good match ups aren't there? I actually think Keith vs Kevin could be a good match, contrasting styles etc. But mostly looking forward to Cilic v Dimitrov.

I like Schwartzman too even if he did knock out Lopez in the last round I suppose I'll let him off.

We're supposed to be making toffee apples today (belated Halloween effort) so if I'm not trapped in some toffee-based hell I will definitely try and watch later.

The first set was close - Grigor is looking a bit shaky now.

Not sure about Grigor's hair - how long has it been like that? He strongly reminds me of someone but I can't think who - he looks really different.

I was also wondering about Grigor's hair! He needs to grow it a bit longer. Mind you Marin's is much the same style. Thiem has a nice hairstyle at the moment.

Maybe they went to the same Parisian barber?! They do have similar styles. Not combed over exactly, but sort of forward - a comb-down?!?
