@Polly, I don't think anyone has accessed Rahul's parents of actually abusing him. People have suggested that because of his nervous manner, he MAY have suffered abuse which impacted on him as an adult. Some of us who were abused just recognise similar symptoms is all.
It was just suggested as a possibility. No one was accused of anything.

Schaden I'm very aware of how I talk to children (as an ex teacher\nanny and CM) , I remember how it felt to be a powerless, frightened child, I'm sure most of us can. (I was lucky with my parents though). Shame that some adults don't remember how it felt to be little.

Yes I bet they do all get on. I'm sure a high pressured experience like Bake Off would bring you all closer together. Even if you wouldn't necessarily be friends otherwise. I thought Terry and Karen looked like a couple on Extra Slice.

I adore Karen and am following her on Twitter now. She comes across well as a great laugh, going to miss her in the tent.

Extra Slice was good ! I just watched the repeat yesterday afternoon. Yes Terry and Karen came over well, thank goodness he's got rid of the stupid curly moustache ends! He looked quite normal!

The male guests were meh but Prue was good (not sure about the pie in the face though, who thought that was a good idea?) I warmed to Tom A . a bit too.

Did anyone else see them all (minus Sandy) on the Jonathan Ross show last night? Noel had gone blonde! I didn't think it suited him, looked really strange.

Noel blond? Wrong. (I bet he's mousy really!)

Noel was blond in an episode of The Mighty Boost, once - when we saw how he had gone from being "something in the city", with gelled hair and wide red braces, to his present Goth-type persona.
