I thought it was brilliant! The assassinations were grim, but that was right really. We watched the second one on iPlayer straight away, and were tempted to watch a third!

TonTonMacoute · 16/09/2018 09:33

It was totally bonkers, but I loved it!

Lucked · 16/09/2018 09:39

Really liked it, great to see a crime drama on the BBC which is less formalistic, I liked the no Kees bits. I don’t have the time to binge watch so will be going at a slow pace.

Lucked · 16/09/2018 09:39

I liked the bonkers bits!

EachandEveryone · 16/09/2018 10:11

Im going to try not to binge it.

It is brilliant, Sandra Oh is fabulous and I cant get over that the main character was the OW in Dr Foster!
its different, seems to be a bit of a spoof of spy films and nice to see two main characters are women.
The writer and star of Fleabag is also involved as writer or producer and i can see the influences from that as well.
I hope it doesnt let me down!

Biologifemini · 16/09/2018 10:28

I really wanted to like it but I just didn’t get it.
I think the psychopath trope is becoming a cliche - similar to everyone being an amnesiac 10 years ago.
I will try and give it another go but it wasn’t interesting enough for me.
It looked like a painting by numbers let’s get loads of European cities in shot so the beeb can sell it elsewhere.

Scabetty · 16/09/2018 11:46

Really liked it and it appeals to my sense of humour.

Chepsi · 16/09/2018 11:55

I've watched it all and I can't wait for the second series. Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer are just absolutely brilliant. I thought there were lots of funny moments too! "I once saw a rat drink from a can of Coke there. Both hands. Extraordinary." Grin

Hushnownobodycares · 16/09/2018 11:56

I thought it was great.

Will be seeking it out on iPlayer asap.

Nquartz · 16/09/2018 12:04

Is it a new series?

Scabetty · 16/09/2018 12:39

Yes, first episode last night.

sakura06 · 16/09/2018 20:20

That was a great line @Chepsi 😂 It did leave me wondering whether a rat could actually do that...

ZiggyStardusters · 16/09/2018 20:29

Loved it loved it loved it! Thought Sandra Oh & Jodie Cromer were amazing. I'm surprised that it's been a hit in the US before showing here, as somehow it felt very British to me. Have watched episode 1 & 2, and trying to ration the rest!

Hushnownobodycares · 17/09/2018 10:42

Am now halfway through and think it beats The Bodyguard hands down. Sandra Oh is up for a best actress for it. Hope she wins!

Judashascomeintosomemoney · 17/09/2018 10:48

Really hoped this was going to excellent as I love both these actresses and after
‘I fell asleep on both my arms’ I knew it was going to be fabulous! Grin

reallybadidea · 17/09/2018 10:52

So many brilliant actors. Loving it. I'm off sick today and it's killing me to stop myself from binge watching it without DH Grin

decisionsdecisions1 · 17/09/2018 12:58

Loved it. Million times more entertaining and less clichéd than the Bodyguard.

You can really recognise PWB's trademark black humour. Sandra Oh is fantastic.
And frankly I prefer series where the main characters are female and not just a side show to the Hunky Male Lead (yawn).

Inkanta · 17/09/2018 13:51

Watched the 1st episode. Brilliant! A bit different.

ChampionThreadKiller · 17/09/2018 15:11

Another one here who absolutely loves it and yes, I am going to binge watch it! Loving the soundtrack too! Only on episode 3 and am hooked.

placemats · 17/09/2018 15:17

It is the best TV I've ever seen.

I now want to do 'naughty'. Plus I've been secretly doing bottom lip all day.

Love it.

Womaningreen · 17/09/2018 18:03

Watching for Sandra Oh

30 mins in and quite bored, wasn't expecting that...

Very disjointed, no flow.

reallybadidea · 17/09/2018 18:17

Haha persuaded DH to bunk off work early to watch another episode with me!

FermatsTheorem · 17/09/2018 22:46

Wow, I am loving this! And Fiona Shaw is incredible - she's like this composite of every female Oxbridge don I've ever met.
