Yes, I think the next few months mark a massive transition period. Angie out, Den leaves the Vic and Frank and Pat take over.

Why is everyone fine about Ian snogging cousin? I know it’s not illegal but most people surely think it’s just bit strange?

Yes I thought the cousin snogging was a bit weird I know cousins can marry and they were not brought up together but it's e a bit taboo ,

As far as I remember (and I was only a kid when this was on!) wicksy is neither Kenny nor Pete’s but is actually Brian Wicks’s as Pat was having an affair with him too when she left Pete. But David is Pete’s (not sure if he’s been mentioned yet has he)

Pete said that when Simon was born she gave birth to Warne thought was his second son so David must be is , strange that he doesn't seem fatal concerned about David,s well being?

I also can't work out what the score is meant to be with Den and Angie. They say it's a professional partnership, but she's clearly thinking they are together, and he's not exactly falling over himself to go out with anyone else??

Yes and no mention of Bianca, since she was supposed to be David’s daughter (or was that not known yet?)! You’d think Pat would be interested in her own grandchild! Although it’s interesting to see how her character was when she first came into the show as I would have only been 5 when these EE episodes were originally aired.

No they don’t know about Bianca as remember David nearly had an affair with her (ew) when he came into the square and was shocked when Carol told her he was her father.

David is definitely Pete’s as Bianca used to refer to Ian as uncle Ian sometimes.

He had two other kids though one of which was Joe wicks so in 1988 he must have been about 7 or 8?

Oh that’s right, I’d forgotten about David almost having an affair with Bianca! 🤮 I’m sure though that Pat mentioned about having to move away from Walford once though, when talking about it with Simon in the Vic? As the reason for that was revealed to be Derek Branning running them out after he found out David had slept with 14 year old Carol? So I suppose if the reason wasn’t mentioned in the 80’s they had scope to make up the Derek storyline later on. Oh yes, I’d forgotten about Joe Wicks (although don’t know how as I fancied the pants off Paul Nicholls as a teen when he was in EE)!

Just watched the first of today's episodes, I guess that makes the Den and Angie situation clearer!
