I know they were joking about a swearbox for Krygios Raahh. I just remember in the past the umpire giving out a warning about swearing which usually led to more swearing and tantrumming from the player!

Fizzy with the amount of swearing Kyrgios does, it would probably delay the matches too much to keep stopping to warn him!

Can't believe Andy v Stan! I wonder if the tournament organisers are kicking themselves that at least one of their big names will be out, or if they are rubbing their hands together at the idea of the big first round clash? Apparently Murray is the second-lowest ranked guy there.. the lowest is Stan. Crazy.

So glad Roger squeezed through again. He certainly hasn't been playing anywhere near his best but if he does just enough to get through then that's OK. Perhaps he just wants a bit more match practice!
Pleased that Cilic beat Krygios. Yes - he should get warning and points docked for the audible obscenities. I think that's an ATP rule, not a tournament thing.

I have a horrid feeling that the Andy/Stan match will not be televised. The BBC only has a contract with the WTA (womens' game) & not the ATP (mens' game) at Eastbourne. They haven't shown any of the mens' matches for some years & even change the nets from WTA slogan ones to ATP ones according to who is playing.

Maybe they will make a concession for Andy!

Yes unless the Beeb can come up with some last-minute cash to show the Andy-Stan match, it's Amazon prime only. I don't know why whoever runs tennis thinks it's a good idea to give so many rights to Amazon prime (they've got the US Open as well haven't they?). It makes no sense - don't they want it to reach as wide an audience as possible?

I have been invited to a bbq at my sister's house ( they are watching the football).it would be rude to refuse and it saves me cooking. But it does mean I might end up missing things today.

although my mum will be there and she will want to watch the tennis too, so maybe later we can watch Queen's.
