I’m struggling to see how June will ever escape now, surely she’ll be under constant guard until the baby is here, or chained to the bed like the woman we saw in episode 1. It’s so bleak.

I’ve never actually read the book but totally hooked on the series. I think I’ll read it at the end of this series.

I'm still clinging to the hope that there's more to this recapture than meets the eye. If it's not Mayday (and I still hope that it is, and they shot the pilot for collaboration) then perhaps Mayday will intercept them. Or maybe there'll be an armed insurrection or something and lots of people will escape.

It would be so horrible if the econowife has her child taken away and has to become a handmaid for harbouring June.

I have binge-watched series one, am currently reading the book and been keeping up with series 2. Only just occurred to me the other day that there would be a thread, and I absolutely love it with all the forensic inspection of the logic and laws of Gilead.

I miss the days when there was absolutely zero option to watch ahead of set broadcast dates and times. I want to know what happens!

I’m still holding to the idea that, one way or another, June’s recapture isn’t going to turn out to be what it seemed.

Me too, Something, it takes all my willpower to not seek out spoilers. I’ve had to hide the cast on Instagram/twitter etc so I don’t see anything. It’s a nightmare.

It really made me think about how hard it must be to escape from somewhere and to trust people who are helping you escape.

During WW2, there are so many examples of people fleeing Europe and being sheltered and helped by people - who would have been shot or sent to the camps if they had been caught.

You never know what you would do in that situation and who you would trust.

Anyone else finding it painfully slow and boring (apart from the last 30 seconds of last episode). Really want to keep going but it's nowhere near as griping as season 1.

Unfortunately I think she's been properly recaptured as there were too many big cars & guns etc, that they will be from Gilead & not Mayday.

She's clever though so hopefully will think of a way out of it.

I really feel for Moira - she's free & yet totally broken & haunted & knows what her best friend is still going through. Wonder if she's told Luke or if he doesn't realise the full extent of the handmaids life.

I hope the econofamily are ok & were just staying out past the 2pm mark in the hope June would leave rather than having been captured. Hope the wife doesn't turn up as a handmaids anywhere.

Loved seeing June & her mum - such a complicated yet loving relationship. Is her mum dead then?
