My spoiler: apparently when Ben's bro turns up in the Bay, it eventually comes out that he and Maggie had a thing when she and Ben were on a break (lol) and Ziggy might be his, not Ben's!

Nik's not 25! The actor who plays him is 22, and the actor who plays Bella is 23, and in the show both of them are meant to be teenagers. I imagine Nikau is supposed to be a similar age to Ryder, so about a two year age gap between him and Bella?

Ari said he’d known Nik 25yrs in an earlier scene, I’ve seen some other posters reference it on Bay to the Bay 😬 hopefully it was a script error, it does seem ridiculous if he’s hanging out with Ryder n Bella...

Sounds like a mishearing/subtitle error. This website says he's 21 - even that seems a bit too old to be hanging around with someone still (theoretically) at school, especially someone who is so emotionally immature.

So she's 16 or 17? I can understand the appeal for her, but agree it seems very young to him. Ryder is 19 so then being friends makes sense but is expect more of an unreciprocated crush Tbh.

How old are Dean etc meant to be? The problem is they picky do random birthdays. Ziggy is 22

I think they said when Mac arrived on the scene that they were both 25, or maybe a year apart?
I think Bella should be sent to boarding school to finish school and grow up abut and then come back as a new improved socially well adjusted member of society or Cocopops should come back and Sort Her Out

Well, speaking of Bella's intensity - we now have a self-harm storyline coming up.

She freaks out when she and Nikau start making out because it reminds her of what happens with Tommy, so she chucks him out and locks herself in her room. When Colby breaks down the door (do you know, I've never known a man break down a door in real life but it happens all the time on TV), he realises she's been self-harming.

Something has to trigger him into sorting her out. Can he have her admitted to a treatment facility do you think?

I'm sorry to sound flippant, but I really can't take any more storylines involving Bella and her trauma. It's too much. Let's have her just being a teenager, hanging out with her friends and being a bit cheeky etc.

And how much can people like Colby and Justin take before the emotional stress leads to a complete breakdown?!
