Noticed that the other thread is nearly full, but I don’t know how to set up the link thing on the other one. Help!

I know we are meant to be on Terese's side re Paul, but she has treated him terribly. He loved her from really early on and she has accused him of killing her son, slept with him and dumped him the next day, tried to take his business from him, slept with and had a relationship with his son... and her brother tried to kill him!
He has always maintained he loves her, was there for her when she can cancer and was so loving at her chemo therapy. He was there for her during the issues with Piper and has always been caring towards her. She constantly acts like she is too good for him and he is the bad guy, but honestly she has treated him dreadfully and doesn't deserve him. When he retaliates she is portrayed as the victim, but honestly Terese has behaved far worse than Paul.

MiddleClassProblem · 13/11/2018 14:59

Nooooooo! Her hair! It was my one hope it was Dee... I still feel the Dee truth must come out.

Crushed up pills do taste like chemical crap! I kept thinking about the kids too. I’m guessing she put most of the pack in but it’s all a bit lame for someone so psychotic unless the plot is that she has no effect and goes berserk and then locked up with her daughter... I can’t see it happening myself.

gendercritter · 13/11/2018 17:13

The whole show is a bit shit at the moment. But bad shit rather than the usual good shit.

As if a headmistress and a teacher and an aspiring doctor would keep a secret this destructive. Finn is known for being extremely bad news - I doubt anyone would raise an eyebrow at the fact that he was trying to harm Bea and see anything that happened as being self-defense.

Dee's mother is a wonderful comedy villain but the storyline is just a bit odd.

Clawdy · 13/11/2018 19:30

Just waiting for the usual bit where Bea gets into Finn's hospital room, and tries to pull his tubes out!
And surely anyone would see that those perfectly smooth symmetrical biscuits were no way home made!

MrsSteveMcDonald · 13/11/2018 21:53

You would think that she'd at least dispose of the biscuit boxes somewhere other than the kitchen bin. Although thinking about it, nobody has noticed the lack of baking smell in the kitchen when she produces her cold batch of freshly baked shortbread

tobee · 14/11/2018 00:55

Poor old Hugo is always covered in bruises at the moment. Probably at that age. Crawling and banging into stuff.

Pierce is a rubbish wound be boyfriend. Doesn't seem to get the hint that Chloe finds him too much. Constantly pestering her, giving her ott stuff all the time in a creepy high class call girl kind of way. One thing when it's cash for company, but actually trying to win her over? HmmBut I always felt the film Pretty Woman had a highly dubious message. Confused

ZoeZebra1 · 14/11/2018 09:22

So after the earlier hospital scenes I was convinced she was Dee, but now she is Andrea apparently... I hope they clear up all the clues and explain it all with a decent conclusion.
Like Andrea's headaches when she arrived, why her hair hasn't gone brown despite being in hospital for months, how Dee got the photo of her and Toadie, all the alias IDs she had, bench Dee, and most importantly what really happened to Dee and where she is now!

Clutching at straws, could Dee have been found by Alice after the crash and Alice drugged and manipulated her into believing she is Andrea? And now she has found her at the hospital she has convinced her again... Willow could be Alice's daughter but she convinced Andrea/Dee she is hers and bribed the dad to go along with it?

What other theories could explain it all?

BareBelliedSneetch · 14/11/2018 10:20

Alice is a properly bonkers pantomime villain isn’t she? Grin

WhiteVixen · 14/11/2018 12:29

When Alice was visiting Andrea in hospital I was half expecting her to call her Dee. I was a bit disappointed when she called her Andrea! 😂 Although she said Andy first I think? An-Dee?

WhiteVixen · 14/11/2018 12:29

Not that that would explain Hugo if it was Dee.

Clawdy · 14/11/2018 12:47

Hope they don't drag the Alice story on for too long, can't face more scenes of Sonya freaking out and Toadie looking judgemental and grim, we've seen that storyline too often and it's boring.

CurbsideProphet · 14/11/2018 14:07

I agree Clawdy we've definitely seen enough of Sonya falling apart and Toadie not trusting her Hmm

AGnu · 14/11/2018 14:41

I forget now... Are we 100% sure that Andrea definitely isn't Dee? Maybe ZoeZebra1 is right & Alice found Dee after the accident. She could've been suffering from amnesia & Alice filled in the blanks with false memories of her real daughter who looked a bit like her. The real Andrea committed suicide after being so poorly treated as a child that she thought she couldn't take care of her own baby. Alice groomed injured Real-Dee into thinking she was Andrea, Willow's mum, but after having Hugo it triggered the realisation that she's never given birth before & sent her brain into meltdown. That would explain how she knew about Dee & Toadie's first kiss. The helpful doctors have been reinforcing the fake memories but now there's this amazing new doctor who can realise that the Dee memories are actually the real ones.

Lovewineandchocs · 14/11/2018 14:54

agnu that’s pretty much the theory going round at the moment. I hope it’s true!

woodhill · 14/11/2018 18:46

nanny Alice storyline is beyond belief. Why would Alice go to a bar nearby.

agree about the short bread and wouldn't there be flour in the cupboard. Shane would tell his brother that Alice is no longer cleaning there and has a bad wrist?

Like the Gem storyline again.

MiddleClassProblem · 14/11/2018 18:55

This made me 🤢 in my mouth a bit

TheWashingFairyatemyhamster · 14/11/2018 20:11

Holy cow - now the Brennans are actually talking about an aquarium wall. Why can I predict this crap and not the winning lottery numbers.

Hmm that picture, mornings. Took me ages to figure out who the woman was. Before I clicked on the pic I thought it was going to be Shane and Dipi as surely that's Shane's shirt.

MorningsEleven · 15/11/2018 11:18

The only good thing on Neighbours for ages was Paul smacking whispering Gary in the coupon.

TheEfficientBaxter · 15/11/2018 15:54

Pierce? I would Wink

Loving Evil Alice! Proper pantomime baddie.

And how is Andrea going to keep that secret phone charged up? Alice didn't give her a charger plug or even a USB cable Hmm

TheEfficientBaxter · 15/11/2018 16:11

I suspect Alice warms the shop-bought shortbread biscuits through in the oven to create a baking smell.

Shortbread doesn't really change colour much when baked (unless you burn it)

Smidge001 · 15/11/2018 18:19

Piers (well the actor) was the first Australian 'Bachelor' in the TV show over there, years ago. - I was living in Aus when it was aired and he was lovely. I think he actually ended up marrying the woman he gave the final rose to. They seemed a real couple. So I have a soft spot for him. I think he's doing quite well at acting actually.

CurbsideProphet · 15/11/2018 18:21

TheEfficientBaxter I was thinking the same thing Grin

woodhill · 15/11/2018 18:32

Why does no one else eat it. Very silly
