Didn’t Aaron only get treatment like 2 days before the wedding? I have no idea how long it takes to get addicted to pain killers but the wedding was 17 days ago. That seems like a mighty come down given he’s unlikely to have had more than he was prescribed...

You’re not supposed to take opiate-based pain-killers like codeine for more than 3 days in case you get addicted, but would anyone prescribe opiates for back pain in those circumstances? Surely they’d give strong anti-inflammatories? Anyway, it does seem a bit over the top that he’d be stealing Xanthe’s drugs, getting massive withdrawals etc Maybe he’s such a health nut that he never ingests anything remotely untoward so his body overreacted...

I’m fairly sure Piper and Leo are together irl, just private about it.

David being told that if anything else happens he’s toast makes me think something else will happen in a few months time. But it’ll be for heroic reasons and Toadie will fight his case so he can keep his job but lose his place in the surgical programme.
