Aaron is doing his best to alienate what little family Robert has left. First Bernice and now Doug.

Poor Doug surely can't be charged with manslaughter when he followed all the correct procedures. Wouldn't it then be death by misadventure?

They've made a right mess of the Ross story. Simon having just got £100,000 would be long gone but no doubt he's still hanging around Hotten until Ross can find out about Debbie.

On a positive note Ryan Hawley gets better looking by the day.

Love Ryan Hawley. Part of me loves Robron and wanted them together. But now I wish Robert had stayed with Chrissie and for them to have been a power couple.

Aaron reminds me off a snappy little terrier - "Snap, snap, growl, snap" at anyone who comes near. I don't know how he manages to stand up with that giant chip on his shoulder.

I can't see how Doug could be charged either. He locked up, put signs up, warned people. Stupid story.

On a positive note I think they must have employed a new hairdresser on set...

Surely any half decent building/accident inspector would realise that what happened - especially Gerry's death - couldn't be attributed to Doug!

I know it's only a tv programme but it is making me really uncomfortable how an elderly, decent man is being left in such turmoil. ☹️ (Being led to believe his actions have killed a young man and that he may go to prison for the rest of his life.)

Drugs, prostitutes and carboard cut out gangsters - it's crap. As for Gabby getting in the stolen car... Come on Emmerdale, you can do so much better than this. I agree with others, Aarons reaction to Doug is just so illogical. When did Sam turn so mean?

I think Sam is being lined up to be a target for Lachlan. They've had a couple of run-ins now.

The actress who plays Dawn is good but that gangster was laughable and his sidekick wasn't much better.

Dr. Cavanaugh's daughter is a right little tearaway.

Just read some disappointing news about a cast member leaving. I'm not surprised this person's quitting, the show's not been great for ages.

I am still not sure why Debbie didn't confess to Joe, why make up a story? (Probably to add some drama or so Joe can go back to being a bad guy).

southeastdweller agree. They've really wasted an opportunity with this character to do some great work. I really don't understand how the writers sit in a room and discuss "no no let's not do anything with this good actor that has a strong fan base and instead let's do lots and lots of stories about Dan n Bob n Jimmy."

Tonight’s episode was a bit funny. Graham leaping into Jason Statham mode “don’t let her die” show he saunters off to handle the baddie.
