The scenes with Rhona and Vanessa's vet friends were awful, very heavy-handed.

I agree - totally over the top snobs. I thought Cain, Moira and Matty did a really good job last night (even if the script was bit off/contradictory at times). I hated the MAMIL story with Rishi - they have made him such an idiot/supposed comedy character - he was once a successful businessman - it adds nothing.

I hope Pete and Rhona can work things out without one of them cheating as that seems to be the thing to do on Emmerdale if you have a row with your partner. They're so sweet together.

Totally agree about the vet scenes. So cringey. We aren’t toddlers. We can follow subtle behaviours. We don’t need to be beat around the head with it. Tbh we didn’t even need to see the vet scenes. We knew what was coming as soon as Rhona said she was bringing her friends to meet Pete. Predictable and boring.

I laughed when Rhona said to Vanessa "I know we don't see them that often", as in never. I wish Charity had been there.

The friends were awful, as soon as he asked Pete how big his farm was I knew what way it would go.

No one seems to do much work on the farm - those poor animals, they need feeding and milking etc regularly. Are Moira and Pete single handedly running it now when it used to take at least Moira, James, Pete, Adam, Andy to do so?

Just catching up and got to say how good I think Matty is, he nailed Hannah's characteristics and the casting was great too. Done well.

When Matty said hi mum it was just a simple process of elimination for Moira. Obviously not Holly cause she's dead and Adam is on the run so the only one left was Hannah.
