I caught about 5 mins of tonight’s after a couple of days not watching and the scenes with Charity and Ryan on the bench packed quite an emotional gutpunch.

Bernice always gets shocking love matches - I quite liked her with Andy just because he was the best of the lot. And considering his history with women that says a lot!

Victoria is a middle aged woman in a 20 something body. It’s like she has been assigned the “mummy” of her age group and she goes round tutting and eye rolling and making them all kiss and make up

I have to put it there, I really can't stand Dan. I've tried to warm to him, but whenever he shrivels his nose he looks like a rat. He's very 'woe is me' and I honestly can't see what Kerry sees in him.

Do you know I found dan unbearable last night! Whatever way he kept twisting his gurny face up made me want to punch him.

Nearly all the men are dire though - paddy and marlon, Pete, Daz & dan, bob, zac, David. All utterly useless in any sort of crisis. In real life they would be eternally single, women haters who can't understand where all the decent women are and why they aren't falling at their feet

And don't get me started on Priya's Dad (forget his name) who rejected faith because she'd had a mastectomy! And there's Jai who ruthlessly bullied that lass he got pregnant. Slime balls the lot of them!

Just watched tonight's episode, after not watching for a few days (Chaz's baby storyline bothered me so I stopped watching for a few days).

I felt sorry for her son Ryan but I wish she'd corrected him when he said she was a prostitute. She was a child. Nobody should be calling her a prostitute.

Some sort of Fandom site (Ennerdale Wiki) has given Chaz's date of birth as 23rd February 1978 and Aaron's as 5th January 1992.

So she's 40 and he is 26 if that site is correct. It says she married his father (Gordon) but not when, and they split up when Aaron was 8, which would make her 22 at the time.

I really don't like how they have all these children giving birth all the time in Emmerdale.

According to the same site, Charity was born on 9th January 1976 and Cain was born on 30th November 1974. Debbie was born on 26th October 1989, making Charity 13 years old and Cain still just 14 when they had her.

Charity had Ryan on 31st December 1990 so she was 14 and a mother of two.

Debbie had Sarah on 6th June 2005 so she was 15 at the time.

Weirdly, that makes tonight's episode Sarah's birthday. Did Debbie (or anybody else) even mention it in all that fussing about wanting to see Sarah and never being forgiven?

I do have other things I could and should be doing by the way, other than searching for fictional people's birthdays.

I just can't especially be bothered to start or finish any of it at this particular moment so this was a good excuse to delay

They did a poll I think it was metro or digital spy on which upcoming storylines in all the soaps people were most looking forward to - and the Amelia, Dan/Daz storyline was way way low.
On a random aside I am jealous of how lovely Ryan's hair is.
