Sorry, macerated strawberries always make me laugh, toilet humour,you can't beat it. surely strawberry vanilla and pistachio are quite common flavour combinations? I don't think David invented them.

I read an article once about the food being hot or cold.....

Apparently John and Greg walk around and taste things as they go. They will have tasted the sauces and jus whilst hot and accept that it might be cold when it comes to properly eating it.
