For some weird reason, the only non Indian food my mum would make was a boiled gammon joint with boiled potatoes and cabbage. I loved it!

@raisedbyguineapigs my mother boils the cabbage in bacon water, mashes it with the boiled potatoes and butter and then pours the cabbage water on top. It is possibly more salt than any child should ever have had!
