I go through phases with Ash, but at the moment he’s pissing me off. To be honest, most of them (Tori, Justin, Leah, Olivia, Ben, Dean, Mason, Alf, that new nurse) are pissing me off at the moment.

Gutted they might kill off Mrs E - since Kat left I’ve been a bit starved of H&A eye candy but there’s something about Maggie. I vote to bring back Dr Nate - he’s clearly a superior super-doctor to Tori, and could definitely save her (then they fall in love and have the world’s most beautiful babies!)

Speaking of acting crossovers, does anyone recognise the actress playing Roo's Mum? I'm sure she was in Sons and Daughters about a million years ago.

Tbf, there’s not much actual plot going on at the moment. It’s all rather angsty, and Maggie’s cancer is a bit too real. There is NO ILLNESS or injury that that hospital can’t cure in three days max - so wtf is going on? Get Dr. Nate back, he’ll sort her out.

I miss Nate. And Heath. I’ll just be snuggled up with the two of them while the rest of you watch Robbo punch Ash in the face.

NewC and Choccy, I named two of mine and Ash's triplets after you Pattie, please be nice to him. We need to heal their rift so we can double date!!!

No actual plot!? Just waiting for the trial of the decade when we finally find out who the f Beckett/Robbo is. Still clinging onto my undercover cop theory though it’s looking less likely the longer this goes on.

Reckon they might spin it out a bit longer and put him in the jail with the picnic tables and the green jump suits.

And on the topic of seeing the H&A turning up elsewhere, I am continuing my Aussie Netflix habit. After the success with Wanted, I’ve moved onto Rake (fan-bloody-tastic btw) and the boy Brax has a fleeting role (looking very young), one of the baddies who went up against the Braxton’s, Robbo’s lawyer and a guy who I think may have been one of the many principals of SBH was a swinger turned murder victim.

I haven’t seen Heath in anything else though.

Have lost track of where Kyle is after one of the H&A spin offs last year which involved Heath, Bianca, Nate - and Kyle. He was in prison then but I can’t remember where he was by the end of it all!

Well, fair enough, we’re waiting for the trial of the decade, but in the meantime we have to endure the neverending saga of Hunter and Olivia, and the return of Roo’s mother, which is less than compelling TV. And I liked the Astonis as new, lively family, so am struggling a bit with the anguish of Maggie’s illness episode after episode. I like H&A to be properly escapist - it’s my happy place - but a friend’s husband died of lymphoma, so this storyline is a bit too real.
