Poor karen and she has grown on us. Just like carol branning did. Anyone who comes in with lots of kids and shouting etc - seems to warm the cockles of our hearts

Will kat /slaters stay or disappear again

Shriek!! A cat fight! Anyone ever seen or been in one in RL? Why is Mel being such a tiger mother and thinking her 'Unter is a saint? Their relationship reminds me of the tabloids' take on Liz Hurley and her son - a bit odd, imo. I loved Chelle asking Mel if all that bleach had gone to her brain. A bit rich as all their highlights are getting brassier every week.
Looking at Sharon's hair is a bit like those old pictures of huge hairdos in the 17thC when people had mice living in their up-dos.

yes, the policeman said something about Luke being found. Not sure where or whatever as , like you, i wasnt really paying attention. I guess that Vincent will try and find his teeth now.

who would even want to go anywhere near Unter, he is horrible and has an attitude and not very nice at all. Mind you, Lou is the same.
I liked Mel's grey coat.

I'm just baffled at the whole 'unter storyline of him plotting and scheming - I have a Ds the same age who is pretty intelligent and very lazy and his existence is based around his computer and eating all my food, the only scheming he can be arsed about is trying to stay up later than he should and trying to sneak his phone into his bedroom at night - I call bullshit Wink

Yes, his character seems implausible to me, even for a soap. He's not a great actor so that doesn't help.

Mel said to Hunter that his track record with tutors lives on so he upsets or pisses them all off. Then Michelle comes along and although she says that she doesn't really want the job, Mel begs her to take it and then goes off on one because Hunter who has repeatedly lied in the last few weeks (at least) spun her a story. Michelle decides to keep quiet about Louise because that worked so well before when Denny was blackmailing her or she wanted to get one over on Phil even though we know this is EE and Louise will get pregnant and shout it out during Christmas dinner. I can imagine it already, Louise standing up pointing her finger at Michelle who is wearing a paper crown and swigging a large glass of wine, 'she knew about it all the time, she was there' Boom. Phil throws 'er 'out of the 'ouse. Sharon looks accusingly at her 'How could you MeeChelle'. Michelle is homeless on Christmas Day.......

Vincent will set up Phil but how can he do that without setting up the others particularly as Mick and Ingrid's boyfriend (whose name escapes me) are being kind to him this week......cue Vincent looking conflicted even though his previous career was being a police informant. I really like Vincent and his character so I hope they don't change it completely.

Human Ken doll lookalike Woody really annoys me, even his voice annoys me. And now silly beggars between himself and Silly Billy, yawn.

I don't get the Tamzin Outhwaite love. To me, she's always Tamzin Outhwaite saying the lines of Mel Owen in EE or Sasha Miller in New Tricks which she ruined or whatever.

Her acting skills involve raising her voice or her eyebrows occasionally.

I quite like Tamzin Outhwaite. I've only seen her in EE and she is one of those characters that just 'fit in' really easily. Her character is strong and sassy, not like the usual shouting/snivelling/psychotic/silliness EE women. I agree that lunging at Michelle was just silly but thats the writer's fault not hers

Birthday, , she may well be all those things for a while , but, like Ronnie Mitchell / Branning before her, , by the end of the year she'll be just like she was and no longer strong and sassy but weak and needy!
i cant see it lasting, but i hope i'm wrong.
I dont mind Mel though - at least she is working , unlike Sharon who looks the part but doesnt do much.

'Canoe' is so sweet !! i do like his character. give him more stories.

so funny about ' coming back from the dead' - yep, its had its fair share of this. its a wonder Mulder and Scully havent been over for a look around.

I know, that made me laugh too about your teen and all the plotting and scheming - my ds1 wouldn't even know where to start with all that! especially when he was 16, he knew where the fridge was and how to get to college ( just) but that was as far as it went. Hunter is made of sterner 'older' genes obviously.

sian lol! yep, ds1 lived in a lovely little bubble for years at that age - you had to chase him up on everything. Hunter is much more with it and knows where his at. The writers do not have teenagers.
