I presume Angie's pregnant as she disappeared twice in the second half of tonight's second episode in the Rovers - presumably to the loo. I think she also said something about not feeling well? Could just have been a device though for Mary and her son to talk more nonsense in her absence. He's becoming more child-like with each episode.

I have no idea what that was all about except maybe it was somehow in the original plan to get Tyrone to drop out and they then added the bit about Hope & Counsellor but forgot to edit it out. Or will samples get muddled or is Robert trying to pretend Tyrone's is his to cover something up? Or do we care?

Iwantacamoervan- I think Robert was worried if his urine test came back badly he wouldn't be allowed to fight (with his testicular cancer scare) so he swapped his urine for Tyrone's as he knew Ty's would be fine. I think?

However, she works for small businesses on the street and presumably takes the work home to Norris's - don't see how she would need to give up work. Perhaps Jude will look after the children or Mary. Well David doesn't like Gary because he cheated on his sister and got Nicola pregnant. But most of it was just misdirected rage. Josh whispered an insult towards the end of the count and that just wound David up so all his emotions came out as aggression. I think. Though perhaps a more logical reaction would have been for him to batter Josh.

I thought David's threat was ridiculous, asking Josh if he was scared of him now he'd seen what he can do. David is a weed, Josh is twice his size, muscular and can box....

I presumed it was the rage against Josh which was consuming him, and he was punching wildly and just releasing some of the anguish, not really directed just at Gary.

Still struggle with the why bash Gary’s head in rubbish. At first he let himself get hurt. Ok that fits with turning anger on self ... then he flipped and took it out on Gary by accident in moment of rage. But at police station he wasn’t bothered at all. If he had flipped he would feel awful and be seriously worried about prison and his nearly orphaned three times kids.

Can’t beilve ty our of the house. Are they even married? Is she going back to work at factory now?

Since when has some small time back street charity boxing match needed lab tested urine? Its hardly the bloody commonwealth games! And who is paying for the testing, lab time etc?

There's a huge load of policies all,p boxing matches should comply wit, including amateur. You won't get insurance otherwise, and whether for charity or not, this is a type of event it would be really silly not to insure. I don't know how far the antidoping policies are implemented for this sort of event, but as athlete selection is meant to be random across all types of competition, I suppose it could crop up.

I notice with amusement that the actor playing Josh is called Ryan Clayton - that's just two characters names, isn't it?!
