I wonder how far it is to Kabul - long way in second gear. I remember a gear box on my Dad's car failing donkeys years ago and it took us a mighty long time to drive ten miles in second gear!

This was quite a good episode wasn't it. Lots of tension. I think the bike riders have clocked the fact it's full of soldiers. Something to do with Elvis looking out?

I do like Rab and Maisie together. They are a cute pair. He's really quite sweet.
