Yes ilove is agree Holby does seem to be a bit odd at the moment I hang in there though waiting for better tomes i.e. Jac anFletch story line and I do like Hansen and Nick G. I now know why no Tom S in Casualty NOT in America but touring with England!!
Am getting worried about next OG series but don’t think BBC will film it and not use it 🤞🤞🤞

Thanks for the information about BA's new film Kazza and Magi. I followed that link and it was interesting. I have to say that all the period details look wonderful and BA suits the 1920's very well. Who was it who said he should do an Agatha Christie? Only preferably not one like 'Ordeal of Innocence'. I don't know if anyone else read the thread on here but I have to agree that I thought it was really nasty and not very Agatha Christiesque. On the whole I prefer the ITV versions even if they did mess about with the Miss Marple stories and plots. As for 'Paris Song' - well it looks lovely but I still can't help thinking it's a bit of an obscure story. I can't see it making a big splash in the film world - but what do I know?

I fear the same as you Rhu that Paris Song is not going to be making a great splash in the UK but just hoping we can see it some time in the future by accessing it via the Internet.

As for 'Ordeal of Innocence' I gave up after episode one. Either you do an Agatha Christie story more or less the way it is written or just don't bother. The writers who adapt other people's work are starting g to get carried away and instead of just preparing it for viewing rather than reading, they alter the story completely. Why not just write their own - if they've got the talent that is?

Yes, twas me who said I'd like to see BA in an AC adaptation but agree with both of you re Ordeal by Innocence (even though it did have Matthew Goode in it )

Been quiet as the internet seems rather sporadic.

Can confirm there are still no LP lookalikes here. The friend I am with liked him in the Musketeers but didn't see the appeal in OG but we kept an eye out. We are both agreed though that it's hard to find somebody attractive when they spend more time in front of the mirror and with more hair products than we do. Haha. The men do seem incredibly vain.

We can't get UK TV at all so have no idea what's going on in the world. I suppose I should be looking for the BBC internet news when WIFI allows. It goes without saying I have no idea of any update on the OG series but would assume somebody on here would have posted if there was positive news?

If that's the case, we could split our watchalongs to one next week and one the week after? Stretch it out a bit further?

Last night in Sicily. It's been very hot today and we were in a very touristy part of the island. Sooo busy and can only think what it must be like in July and August.

Bit of a bummer, ilove. Go to Sicily for a few days, miss summer and come home to winter again.

Haha eejit. We were back on Friday so at least had yesterday's nice weather. It rained here this morning but did get out later, though nowhere near as warm as yesterday. The garden has really sprung into life and although there were only the daffodils in flower before we went, everything has come out over the past week.

At least I got all my post-holiday washing dried yesterday!

Anyone got any news on when we're likely to see OG on TV? I see "The Split" has been well advertised and is in 6 parts so if OG follows that, it's going to be at least early June.

Can't find any news re date for OG to air Ilove. Strangely Amazon still showing the DVD as being due for release on 28th May. Surely that can't be right. Certainly gone quiet on the subject.

Can’t understand what is happening with OG unless it’s because while you were away there was something on the news about the girls in Nigeria being released and I wonder if this has anything to do with the delay, as this is what the programme is going to be about. So we continue to wait out! In the cold again today.
