I was impressed with the cool of the Chinook pilot, though it is difficult to think of them as a sports car.

I think what hit home with me was when the pilot said he had to choose his team for the assault on the kidnappers based on who either wasn't married or didn't have children. Also that within 19 seconds, 5 of the 6 soldiers were rescued.

I haven’t watched the RAF programme yet but you have all got me very interested now. I have recorded it for later. I wonder if there will be four weeks before the next series. Still no mention in the Radio Times.

There were no details on the picture I may look on amazon later but £10 more than the others seems a bit excessive to say the least. With the others on amazon they did change the price nearer the date but not by much. The release date was May

Evening. Yes I was reading that thread earlier ilove. People are very strange but I suppose we've all got our own slightly peculiar ideas that might seem fine to us, although most of us have enough common sense to realise when we are being a bit unreasonable and stop ourselves from going too over the top. I think the problem is when people hold grudges for years - mind you, I've got neighbours who think they live in Australia and barbecue what seems like every day throughout the summer if the sun is shining and it really annoys me. (I don't mind barbecues now and then but you don't need to do it multiple times per week and blow acrid fumes over your neighbour, do you?) That said being typically British I just mutter about it around the house but would never say anything to them directly.

I think parking disputes are some of the most common and I noticed a few of those on that thread.

Hi everyone. Well Ilove you set me off on what was meant to be a quick look at that thread on bizarre neighbours and I finally passed a very entertaining hour and a half! Realise how lucky we are with our neighbours. The only other thread I've ever been on is the one "what we are reading" mainly with a view to getting ideas of books to read. Mind you these days I get so wrapped up in all the super fanfiction that I don't have much time for any other.

We've got sleet here today Flower but I think as it's been raining, it's too wet for any proper snow to stick (hope so anyway). Out at lunchtime as a belated birthday celebration for yesterday. It was a bit difficult to organise anything for yesterday with it being Easter Sunday. Celebrating tomorrow too! (I like these extended birthdays). On 2 April last year, we were sitting outside at the bottom of the garden enjoying tea and cake. Not today!
