He knew he would be shot. Unlucky to get hit below the flak jacket though.

Ilovelblue · 27/03/2018 21:49

Wait for it...........

Boom!

The ambulance scene is so moving - when she realises quite a lot of things, I think.

Rhubarb01 · 27/03/2018 21:49

Yes, all is well in the world. He saved her TWICE!!

Ilovelblue · 27/03/2018 21:49

If only the Nepal tour could have finished like this instead of Elvis blown to smithereens, eh eejit?

Like CJ in OG 1 they aren’t long enough!,

eejittwo · 27/03/2018 21:50

No - four times. You are forgetting Afghan and the beach at Mombasa

Rhubarb01 · 27/03/2018 21:51

Don't worry Jamie, there's always Dr Judy and her finger buffet to look forward to.

At least Georgie turns up and offers an explanation which Elvis didn't.

eejittwo · 27/03/2018 21:51

Couldn't agree more ilove

Rhubarb01 · 27/03/2018 21:51

Acutally, just remembered that Elvis saved her THREE TIMES. What more does he need to do?

Ilovelblue · 27/03/2018 21:52

In reality, I cannot see that the jilted groom would still be in the churchyard. Am sure the best man would have whisked him away somewhere.

Rhu - it's why OG3 turned out so unsatisfactorily, not just because he got blown up, but we are led to believe that there was no contact between them after the ambulance and before Syria. Really?

Rhubarb01 · 27/03/2018 21:54

And here they are the most forgiving parents in the world although in my opinion it was their fault anyway.

Rhubarb01 · 27/03/2018 21:55

Very true eejit. She certainly felt something for him after he went off in the ambulance but by the time they are in Syria at the start of OG3 it's all a bit frosty again.

Ilovelblue · 27/03/2018 21:56

The second marriage was their fault, yes, but can you honestly think any parents would say "Oh it doesn't matter" when they've shelled out for weddings. I guess Jamie was supposed to have paid for the second one but even so.

So there we are. Ten episodes watched and four more to go.

Are we going for Nepal then next? Same time next week?

eejittwo · 27/03/2018 21:59

Okay - though after the first four minutes next Tuesday, we'll have to wait till 10 to 10 on the 10th for a further glimpse of Elvis ...

eejittwo · 27/03/2018 21:59

And we have to put up with the super creepy Milan

Rhubarb01 · 27/03/2018 22:00

I'm happy to start on the Nepal tour next week. It would be great if we could manage all four episodes.

Ilovelblue · 27/03/2018 22:01

I can cope eejit, after all we have CJ and the baby goat to look forward to in the meantime!

OP posts:
eejittwo · 27/03/2018 22:02

I'd forgotten the baby goat.

Rhubarb01 · 27/03/2018 22:03

I know what you mean about the lack of Elvis action eejit but I am enjoying the Rab/Maisie relationship which might be a bit of a consolation and from what we know of the Nigeria tour or the one after there is the introduction of another SF leader 'Bones' (I still reckon his real name will be 'McCoy') who might be interesting? I'm keen to see what happens with the others although I will miss Elvis.

Rhubarb01 · 27/03/2018 22:04

ooh a baby goat and that cute little ear fondle from CJ, that's surely enough by itself.

Ilovelblue · 27/03/2018 22:13

Changing the subject slightly and thinking of the SF, I watched the RAF programme again tonight when I was having my tea and the pilot of a Chinook helicopter was interviewed and described a mission in Sierra Leone. It was fascinating. These guys must have super-steady nerves and can keep their cool. I must confess I thought of Elvis when I was watching it.

Well, you've definitely sold the programme to me now, ilove. I will look it up on the iplayer.
