Why do we not see kurten's house and family?

I think the show has a very small budget, which limits the locations they can use.

We only see an exterior shot and his bedroom don’t we? I think the fact that the cast is made up of their friends and family tells us what kind of budget they’re working with! but they do it bloody well. It really works. The sparseness of everything really backs up the quietness and dullness of their village and how boring their lives are.

There is a This Country podcast called WTAF. I haven’t listened to it yet but might be of interest?

Kerry is like the village cat “tommy two teas” who goes round the houses for dinner.

Aww I want an old lady to feed me scones and biscuits! I couldn’t stop laughing at Kerry eating her steak and chips in front of Springwatch.

I found this week's episode quite sad. Poor Vicar and Jacob.

That song at the end though! Brilliant!

I watched the new episode last night. I wonder if vacar's son will hang around now. I suspect we won't see him again though just like the two nerds Kurten made friends with in the first series. Kerry seems to be getting more and more insecure. Not seen much of slugs in this series.

I loved this episode. Poor Kerry, and how lovely Kurtan was trying to get her dad to sign a card and then forging it at the end.

I loved Big Mand saying she'd seen the fox boys and then, the next night, an alien.

I just love this show - last weeks episode had me almost crying with laughter (I haven't seen the most recent one yet). It's so funny and so full of pathos...their relationship is beautiful and the show wonderful.

I have to hold myself back from yelling 'Kerry...Kerry'

Even without seeing them interviewed you can tell they’re not posh! They’ve far too much spot on insight into these characters. They donut so well. You can tell they’ve lived in this type of area with these type of characters. It’s fantastic because it is so real.
