If they are then it's a double bluff as Stenders isn't at its best at the moment! Actually, the Corrie scriptwriters must have moved south on a job swap as Stenders is having problems with plot consistency and amazing day to night transformations.

Normally in soaps when someone has killed they will start having some sort of emotional turmoil, nightmares of dead bodies putting them in a prison cell, flashbacks, snapping at their nearest and dearest, heart palpitations etc. Phelans had none of that. A bit of “out damned spot” wouldn’t go amiss. At least pretend you’re human, man!

Well, Phelan escapes again. And again. And again. The problem is, when they do bother to properly kill him off, none of the viewers will believe he's gone. And so we'll have a repeat of the "Is Callum still alive?" saga from a few years ago. Kate Oates and the whole team need a reality check - and fast.

Also no one seems bothered about Callum either now. When Bethany was talking to Sarah and she was worried she was going crazy like Sarah did Sarah didn't look remotely fussed.
Unless I missed something surely you would still feel a little remorse for covering up a murder!
