Thank you everyone. I've just read this thread from start to finish and there are some very funny posters on it. Also made me nostalgic for the caliber of the Ken, Mike, Deirdre story line where it was so huge the result was played on stadium score boards. I love Norris and seeing him as a softer character was lovely, was with Kirk iirc. I worry about Barbara Knox, will be strange without William Roache and I think Audrey should have a love match. She loved her Alfie. So sad when he died in real life weeks after his on screen death. Don't think it was a coincidence. Also I hope Emily comes back but not hopeful.

Craig OCD storyline is starting to get on my wick... apologies I know it's a good idea for a storyline but ithe counting is irritating it can't just be me ??

I think Liz is really funny, it's those expressions. Maybe now she's not a landlady there's more scope for comedy. Those scenes in the toilets with Eileen was like the Corrie of old.

No Erica return please! I think all the actors would be better if the storylines and scripts were better. I prefer the slower pace of the old days.

I always though that Erica and Liz running the bar was going to be the way forward - could have really livened things up - bit of glamour and mayhem. Don't believe anyone would spend their hard earned cash in the Rovers these days - with Pete, dreary Toyah and Sarah running the gaff.
