Do we have/want a thread? I'm super excited, love the Winter Olympics, it's one of those things I end up obsessed with and staying up half the night!

Anybody else?

Annoyingly Eurosport player doesn’t seem to have been updated with today’s events. Allegedly the qualifiers for the women’s half-pipe are in there, but what actually plays is the women’s freestyle skiing moguls. And the women’s slopestyle final isn’t on there at all.

Where are the BBC btw? They had Chris dean on there today, I was assuming they were in Korea but he did dancing on ice last night.

@Livelounge there are two teams for the BBC most are in PyeongChang watching it all live and doing the commentary etc. but I believe Hazel Irving's team are in a studio here in the UK simply presenting and discussing the highlight and clips of the action.

Is anybody watching the short track?

Yes we thought the Canadian was flipping lucky not to get penalised!

I guess like the commentators said the referees can see many many more angles than we can and obviously saw something that we couldn't.

Disappointed for Elise but that's her least favourite distance and at least she gave it her all.

I know nothing about snowboarding but dc and i were very impressed with Chloe Kim , only 17 and she is fluent in 3 languages

The short track referee decisions often baffle me but then I have no idea what the rules are. I feel sorry for Elise Christie but there are 2 more chances for her.

Geez, Germany won gold in the figure skating I did not expect that at all.
Being a multinational family makes the Olympics even more fun.

So happy for Aliona Savchenko (pairs figure skating gold). I've been watching her with both her partners for so long and really wanted her to win gold as realistically it was her last chance

I haven't seen it yet, only saw the headlines, need to find a quiet moment to watch it later.
Christopher Dean called her "the most competitive athlete he ever met" when he was in the studio yesterday.

DS2 is so enamoured with the snowboarding in the Olympics that I’ve booked him a lesson at our closest dry slope. I think his dreams of back to back 1440s (inspired by the men’s half-pipe final) are probably a long, long way off (in the way that other galaxies are), but he’ll have great fun anyway.

Lots of boring stuff.....curling, ice-hockey. Glad to have found the figure skating. I'm sorry to say I enjoy events where people fall over!!

Is it only me or is anyone struggling to find events on iplayer. I watched the 7pm highlight program, which itself feels like highlight of highlights, and want to watch the ice skating in full. I can't find anything meaningful on player save little programmes!

@GetTaeBed I've been having the same problem - so frustrating.
I've been fast-forwarding my way through the catch ups of the overnight broadcasts to get the bits I want, but it could have been organised SO much better. I'm sure the BBC Sport App during the Rio Olympics was far better?
