cant wait

i enjoyed s1, tho was full of twists and if i rem correctly it was a confusing end

we weren't sure if she killed /tried to kill henry with a bag over his head

but we had proof it was him due to the bite mark on his shoulder

or something like that

the first series is on demand sowill re watch the last episode to refresh memory

I read an interview with Anna Friel where she said something along the lines that questions arising from series 1 will be answered by the end of this series, so there's a lot to achieve next week !

Wasn't Samantha's mum the friend of the one who died after the rock concert? She was with her, lost her virginity (INNOCENCE KLAXON ) that night, then went home and kept schtum.

I can’t be the only one who just wants this to be finished. I loved the first one but this seems too drawn out, too many characters who are all interlinked and it’s bloody confusing.

Surely the disable man's a similar age to her? Wasn't one of the children an amateur boxer? He surely could have over powered her.

I'm going to have to find the clip of the killer dressed on scrubs walking to boys room, I'm sure body shape was taller and slimmer.

Although if she's a midwife, then her along with the vet have the medical knowledge.

Totally confused.

Also thought, Marcella daughter doesn't really have much of a part, what if it turns out son didn't kill baby, but was trying to save baby from sister who did kill her? He's blocked it. Also Samantha had what looked like burns on her legs, could sister have done that?

Crikey, didn't see that with Samantha's mum coming. Thought her role was solely Edward related.

Was confused (could be added to the thread title!) as I thought Sascha's gf was a vet/medic person but then was sure I'd seen her at the foundation at a desk. Maybe she volunteers there when not being medical? At the time I just put it down to my usual haze of Marcella Fog. I could try hypnotherapy Grin

I must be alone then in shouting 'I knew it!' at the screen. She is of the 'bad actress' brigade who can't help gurning at the camera in that 'my role is much bigger than you think' way . The midwife thing was a reveal, obviously, but annoying . I would still guess that a midwife doesn't know how to do neurosurgery!!

Still threads to be resolved with gf of Jason .

And, yes, I thought toilet shagger was a vet, too, so I also don't understand why we keep seeing her at the charity. I don't think vets are known for needing to do a bit of light employment on the side.

All these women in high powered and fulfilling careers, eh? How fantastic at last on TV! Oh wait... they are all unhinged,manipulative, deceitful, possibly serial killers (and , worse, child killers, the worst of all possible sins for a woman) and /or in complete meltdown. The only female above reproach knows her place as a mere careworker. Sigh.

Samantha’s mum could have been lying when she talked about having sex with the lead singer and the ‘other man’ whose name she didn’t know. Maybe she and Alan are in cahoots? ( have always wanted to write that!)
Also confused about slightly unhinged vet lady turning up at Kids Call. DS says we’ve seen her there before, but I don’t remember this?

We have seen her there before indeed. I think we are supposed to assume that's how the two lovers met.

This is what annoys me about Marcella :no explanations.

The car that Edward was trying to remember; I thought the car that was in the distance and indicating was a silver car... Edward kept looking at the yellow car outside Samantha's house.

So if Samantha's mum is the drugging person, and she is in cohoots with band people, easy to hide boys body in wall - sorry I'm crap with names - the vet/call handler is filtering out the vulnerable children. Who has got anything to do with the dead woman on a roof. Surely there are too many involved, someone would slip up. Arghh

Shame policeman got shot by brother of dead girl on roof

I don’t think the mum of gf is doing the killing. I think as she thinks Edward has hurt her daughter she drugged him

Dead policemen found out that ex dh new gf was a possibly
Prositute - but surely that wouldn’t be enough to make her walk away from Jason and moving abroad ?

Did feel sorry for Tim. Think that’s his name. Policeman shagging vinces wife and then getting blamed for fraud

So we think the killer may be

Blonde ivf lady
Ginger ivf lady
Blonde rich lady as she had the toys
Jason’s finace

Sorry I’m crap with names

Or manager or home or now EDWARDS gf mum

Where has nurse /sister gone. Who has killed her
Or taken her away as she wouldn’t leave her baby

Only two who knew about the ‘no accident man’ was manager of care home and maybe Jason’s fiancé

She last was seen with Jason gf

I kind of rolled my eyes at Edward being in danger again TBH. He’s already been saved once! I’m more worried about where Gail is.
It was the same point as the last series where they revealed the killer, the end of the penultimate episode.
