cant wait

i enjoyed s1, tho was full of twists and if i rem correctly it was a confusing end

we weren't sure if she killed /tried to kill henry with a bag over his head

but we had proof it was him due to the bite mark on his shoulder

or something like that

the first series is on demand sowill re watch the last episode to refresh memory

The bloke in the care Home who couldn’t talk was the killer woman’s brother. But too many loose ends and the ending barmy.

That was completely shocking- if that is what they wanted. Agree about all the other characters- not clearing up what happened. Did Marcella just lose it then, poor Tab! At the end she reminded me a bit of the lead female character from the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo Confused

I'm prob similar height to Samantha mum, no way could I lug a dead weight about. It was so ridiculous to think she could do it alone. The little boy who escaped, why did he never wake? Really cross, that it's been a miserable, violent, series, which has no real outcome. arghh

the way she “killed” Juliette seemed more accidental to me, like she just hugged her too hard. It was deliberately non violent I thought, to make it seem less like a murder and more like a mistake

I'm not convinced she killed Juliet. It's possible Jason and his girlfriend arranged for the hyptonist to plant memories. Also wouldn't suffocation be picked up by the post mortem?

Accidental could still result in a manslaughter charge. I think a lot of people would be pissed off if the next series just carries on like she’s super-cop again.

What was the point of the lesbian couple? Plus I felt there was some backstory to the brother and sister with the young baby and that was why they were so protective of each other. Despite appearing in so much off the series, they were dismissed in the last episode.

I think the memory of Juliet must have been planted. A protagonist of a police / crime series cannot have killed her own baby or anyone else for that matter!

That woman dies in the fire that was shown on the police station TV in this episode. She was so badly burned that they could only identify her through DNA (which was registered as Marcella from the fake sample)

But how did that woman conveniently die now?

Lesbian couple were desperate for cash for fertility treatment and the Victoria Smurfitt character paid the one who worked at the charity to set up her husband for fraud but husband spotted it and set up the policeman (I think) otherwise they were a huge red herring.

No idea if husband's girlfriend was involved in killing Gail- possibly not- possibly just passed on a message that the patient's sister wanted to see Gail.

Highly improbable that the murderer has her mother's large, empty house, her ex-husband's large empty warehouse at her disposal. And they never investigated who owned the house in the country where the boy who never woke up was.

Well let’s face it, people would spot her dodgy walk a mile off so she isn’t going to be much good as an undercover officer

I spent so much time thinking what an odd way of walking she has.

Well if there was a worst possible time to watch an episode while BFing my 5 month old, that was it :( that was horrible. Good point about it maybe being a planted memory though.
