Anyone else confused that a random person contacted Shirley - it seems that random person was the girl we saw collapsing all around the square.

Yet when Shirley gave her the cash she told her her phone number was inside ConfusedGrin

I thought, at first, random girl was the one trying to set up martin the other day ? but it clearly isn't her. what became of her?

That was the most bizarre episode.. several times I asked myself what am I watching? Do you reckon the writer's have gone "fuck it that still watch it no matter what shit we put out so let's just write anything."

Have Kathy and masood got together yet? (Not a spoiler just my musings) - i reckon the writer's thought right let's put him with washerwoman and even that thought no, no there must be someone else....Kath! Fryers, Samosas! It's all clicking into place!

Quite enjoyed last night's episode, especially the kid's faces at the show. Loved Martin putting his foot through the drum. Actually laughed out loud. It did all seem a bit weird and not really connected together but it was better than watching moaning Max for half an hour.Grin

Seemed to be a filler episode but I’m guessing with all toddlers it took about a million takes.

I bet they had to arrange a proper entertainer or put on a DVD to get their attention whilst filming all the little ones! Perv was funny though with the put downs, its a wonder Martin didnt deck him one ( not in front of the kids though i suppose, wouldnt look good)

Arthur is such a sweet little boy.

I've had disasters like that taking children anywhere - lego land in 96 - dh ds1 and i nearly came to blows. we laugh about it now.

Mere the perv reminded me of Patchy Peter a party entertainer who was all the rage when my kids were small. He used to manhandle them slightly to keep them under control but everyone continued to use him!

I am so glad i dont have little children anymore or have to endure parties for other people's offspring! Although i think its all swimming and rock climbing these days? Or something very upmarket?

30 odd years ago I was receptionist at a solicitors and we did one (house purchase) from start to finish in 48 hours but it was a super special rush job as it was when they changed the tax relief rules on non-married couples buying houses together so there was a lot of cash at stake, so in theory it could be done much quicker than your usual 8-12 weeks but I doubt one day is feasible.

I'm totally fed up with the Vincent/Aidan story - I don't see how it makes sense for Aidan to pressure Vincent into selling it super fast when each time the selling price gets reduced - surely he'd want the most money he could, just rubbish ConfusedHmm

I thought all along that Aidan was rushing Vincent into selling at a ridiculously low price so he could swoop in and buy it himself as well as get the proceeds of the sale so a double win for himself.

The second episode didn't record for some reason and I can't be bothered watching online so if anyone cares to give a quick summary..... please?
