I actually like the fact EE don't put surname of new characters until we know who they are. Great idea about it being one of Stacey's 'other' half sisters. Looks like she could be a good character.

I don't think she is Stacey's sister, when they introduced Kyle they said that all the Slater siblings had S names. Kyle was originally Sarah. I do agree that she has a Slater look about her though.

Hayley would have a northern accent like Kyle, wouldn't she, if she was Stacey's half sister?

I can’t think who all the Slater women were now and who could have a daughter the age of Hayley. If she is indeed a Slater. I’m sure it will all be tied up neatly and promptly as all EE storylines.

On that note, where is Tiff?

Poor Abi. Maybe she accidentally fell through a portal to another world, never to return. Maybe she's gone to Silent Witness same as everyone else. She might get a decent burial there.

Where do we think Stacey was going if not Brighton? Or was that just part of the set up for unknown girl to take pictures?

I thought R & R was because of Ronnie & Roxy.

I wondered if mystery woman could be Ryan's prison officer girlfriend but her name's Helen so I guess not. All Stacey's siblings originally had names beginning with S so she's not one of them & none of the original Slater daughters have a daughter called Hayley, unless they forgot they gave birth to twins again... No idea who she is but it does seem likely that she's setting Martin up. I think the Brighton trip is a red herring though - given Stacey's current erratic behaviour I wouldn't be surprised if she went on a whim & planned to call Jean on the way, or just show up & shout "Stacey surprise!" It's a shame Sausage is gone, she could've taken him as the surprise.

Because I’m sad I just googled the slater family tree - Stacey Dad Brian is the Son of Violet Slater (who we’ve never seen and was Charlie’s sister) he could have had siblings that the new woman belongs to.

Something I’ve always wondered about, Stacey calls big mo Nan, but she’s not related to her in any way, Mo was Vivs Mum (not a slater) so she’s the wrong side of the family to be related to Stacey

Carmel is a busybody, but at least she tries to help even if her comments about the gate was strange. She is a marmite character.

The comment about the gate was horrible, so obvious it had been painted by a child, what an old witch!

I thought Carmel was concerned about the screaming but didn't want to look like she was accusing them of anything & was using the gate as an excuse for why she'd knocked.

I loved how Uncle said to the social worker that there might not be a next time but as soon as he was asked he said yes. What lovely people :)

THE GATE comment was stupid. max lives there so he must give concent. There is no law over how you paint your gate. Their houses dosnt even look over anyone’s with it being on the end. Isn’t Carmel and Kush flat in middle of market?

Had to laugh that Sharon just let herself in to the abandoned club with that flimsy yale lock. Surely it should have been broken into by now.

Why is Martin so cliched, thinking Stacey is still getting it on with Max? The same Max who hasn’t yet buried his daughter? And yes to whoever above said Carmel is now the Patron saint of cheated women. It’s annoying in the extreme!

I can forgive Martin for his overactive imagination re Max. He's stood by Stacey through her mental health crises, shown no preference for Hope over the other two kids, been betrayed emotionally and sexually and now being mucked about with access arrangements. His head must be all over the place.

I googled it earlier and it’s complicated. Phil and Shirley bought Jack’s share well before R&R died. He had a share from Ronnie when she was pregnant with their baby.

It beggars belief that Sharon owed RnR and not been running it. Does she not need money? Also the I can’t run it I have an 11 year old? Huh? She not single parent there’s Phil and Nuchelle and home if she had work in evenings. Once you have staff surely you can tick it over in the day?
