So Joe is the new lord of the manor, but who is Graham really.

Will this be the thread where Moira and Cain finally get back together

Will there be wedding bells for Bob and Brenda, I don't think so

Will Marlon and the head teacher get along nicely or will it end up going nowhere slowly until we all want to scream at the telly

What will Lachlan do next.....................................

Maybe all the doctors hate Rebecca too Grin

DonnyAndVladSittingInATree · 25/01/2018 21:36

Grin can’t blame them really.

southeastdweller · 25/01/2018 22:16

Deleted voicemails can't be recovered, at least not on an iPhone.

Jojoanna · 25/01/2018 22:31

Thomas Atkinson ,, Such a good actor !

Frillyhorseyknickers · 25/01/2018 22:55

It wasn’t an iPhone...

I’m sick of the Brenda storyline and Moira needs to go as well. More Gerry lines though he’s funny!

HereHoldMyDrink · 27/01/2018 03:09

His (Jerry’s) shoes were really loud though when he was in his suit, I found it really annoying!

Susiesoap7 · 27/01/2018 09:32

Just seen Rodney on Bergerac! He is a good looking fella, only his hair has aged

MrsSteveMcDonald · 27/01/2018 16:56

Rodney had been in Emmerdale for ages before someone pointed out he was in Carry on England. I hadn't twigged until it was pointed out and now it seems so obvious that I can't believe I didn't realise

Smidge001 · 27/01/2018 20:05

Love Rodney too!

Eastie77 · 28/01/2018 13:27

Lachlan’s character really is complex and brilliant...an odious toad but his speech by Rebecca’s bedside when he said people finally like/accept him made me feel so sorry for him!

Wonder how Robert is going to find the oodles of cash for the magical therapy to cure Rebecca’s brain injury. She’s so dim witted it hardly seems worth the effort. Anyway, I suspect she’ll emerge from the coma but will have amnesia so we’ll have a few months of Lachlan sweating on when/if she remembers and manipulating her into believing some false memories.

Lachlan tbf in his 17 years has had more to deal with than most people in a lifetime! And yet you can't pinpoint how/why he's as twisted as he is. Both him and Robert had a lovely relationship when they came into the show, it'd be nice to see them return to it.
Robert always seem to have oodles of cash at the right moment - yet still lives with his sister and is scrambling to get his hand on home farm. For a man with no job he does well.

It did make me laugh when Brenda said "but she looks so ordinary" whilst looking at photos of a young, pretty fit yoga loving Fiona! Ordinary? Compared to Brenda? Compared to Bob?? What was she expecting? Angela Jolie with Bob?

Eastie77 · 28/01/2018 20:13

Most of Lachlan’s drama/trauma has been self inflicted (assaulting Alicia, shooting his grandad) and his family always contrived to get him off scott free. I suppose his absent, gangster dad hasn’t helped but he’s had a pretty privileged life all things considered. Speaking off, won’t he have inherited some money from Chrissy as next of kin and his grandad. I know he’s still a minor but he’s living in the Dingles half demolished house and no lawyers etc seem to have been in touch regarding the White’s estate.

bonfireheart · 29/01/2018 17:05

There's been no mention of who paid for the funerals either.

bonfireheart · 29/01/2018 21:37

Hmmm so Ross, Cain, Robert, Joe all single yet the ladeez all love Paddy ❤️

TheLegendOfBeans · 29/01/2018 21:49

Yeah, it’s almost like the ladies go wild for a washed baked bean in human form Hmm

DonnyAndVladSittingInATree · 29/01/2018 22:16

And Pete!! Hmm what the hell is wrong with Rhona? He had the personality of a stick insect.

The whole bob and Laurel thing really boils my piss. It was totally pointless except to throw us off the trail for who killed Emma for a while. It makes no sense whatsoever. If it had been an ongoing affair it would have made sense but a one night stand and all this bullshit with brenda chasing women round the internet is ridiculous. End it now emmerdale!

DonnyAndVladSittingInATree · 29/01/2018 22:18

BTW was charity bisexual before her and Vanessa? I can’t remember her being with any other women.

GrooovyLass · 29/01/2018 22:22

I seem to remember her seducing Zoe for some nefarious reason or other.

DonnyAndVladSittingInATree · 29/01/2018 22:26

Yes Zoe sprung to mind just after I posted the question. I can’t remember the storyline though. Probably just charity being her underhand manipulative self.

southeastdweller · 30/01/2018 08:43

I was a bit Confused when Bob asked Brenda if she'd been to the Arndale centre - why would she go all the way to Manchester when there's so many good shops in Leeds?

Eastie77 · 30/01/2018 08:52

It feels like the Laurel/Bob affair was also just an exercise to give Brenda a storyline. She seems to serve no meaningful purpose apart from making coffee, gossiping and clearing up after the invisible twinsConfused Wonder if she complains to her RL husband (Pollard) about it on their way to work in the morningGrin

bonfireheart · 30/01/2018 18:07

Also didn't Vanessa have a child? Where is he/she? Or did I imagine it?

southeastdweller · 30/01/2018 18:29

She does. As we say on the EE threads, she’s locked him away in the kiddie cupboard Grin

DonnyAndVladSittingInATree · 30/01/2018 19:41

Right, I think I’m becoming a prude because I’m getting really fed up with the language being used in emmerdale this weather. Why is Vanessa talking about pooing porcupines (after all that “turd” business with charity) and why on Earth is paddy discussing Rhona’s sex life in the middle of the street And using terms like slapper? Surely that’s not 7 o’clock sort of language for the TV? Kids are still milling around then. I grew up watching emmerdale. I can’t let my kids watch it.
