So Joe is the new lord of the manor, but who is Graham really.

Will this be the thread where Moira and Cain finally get back together

Will there be wedding bells for Bob and Brenda, I don't think so

Will Marlon and the head teacher get along nicely or will it end up going nowhere slowly until we all want to scream at the telly

What will Lachlan do next.....................................

JaneJeffer - bet the authors of the Bible never thought they'd see that sentence!

I've been keeping my eye out for Cain and Moira but it seems they must be holidaying in a different part of Cornwall as I haven't spotted them yet :o

ellenanora5 · 17/03/2018 20:14

Debbie is an idiot as usual, why doesn't she just come clean to Ross, he's never going to send her to prison, its emmerdale, most people get away with their crimes.

Ouais Grin

Surely the Dingles are going to be suspicious when they hear Debbie and Joe are back together?

ChinkChink · 17/03/2018 22:38

Ah 'One expression' Debbie Dingle. I see she married David IRL recently. That much timber fused together deserves its own DIY section.

Mind, they're not the worst to grace the Dales.

I quite like how Marlon is scripted, particularly his bromance with Paddy, but my dog I wish he wouldn't gurn so much.

None of the above, however, can match the mega-ham that was Holly Barton, not Carl King.

Biff. Butch. Betty. I could go on. Who's your side of ham?

Hygge · 18/03/2018 02:46

I really dislike the acid attack storyline, and I don't think they've taken it seriously enough.

Ross has been lucky enough to avoid any sort of injury that will make life difficult for the make-up department, so they can have him back to normal in a few months time.

And Debbie and her "I never mentioned acid" nonsense so they can have her get away with the attack.

They need to show the real life changing damage something like this causes, and have Debbie in prison along with the bloke she hired. Not have it all forgotten and forgiven in a few weeks because she didn't mean it and he's just a bit pink around the eyebrow.

I'm very fond of Graham, but he looks like he belongs in the Anthill Mob.

southeastdweller · 18/03/2018 10:05

The acid attack story has no impact for the reasons Hygge has said. I'll add that another reason I think the injuries were downplayed were so the injuries could heal soon and not diminish the sex appeal of Ross who we all know is a big fan favourite. I don't like Michael Parr's acting in this story - he seems a bit wooden and lacking conviction.

RightOnTheEdge · 21/03/2018 19:50

Is it just me or are the Dingles making even less sense than normal?

What good would Lisa changing her statement do? Liv has already admitted everything Confused

snozzlemaid · 21/03/2018 20:29

I agree. It doesn't make sense. I don't understand how they can be so horrible to Lisa.
Love how their house is miraculously rebuilt and looking just as it always did.

Hygge · 21/03/2018 21:14

The Dingles and their code annoy me.

I have never really liked Chas as a character and I don't know why they're so fond of her on the show.

I don't think they intend for her to be an unlikeable character, not in a "love to hate" kind of way or anything. I think she's meant to be liked, which is hard, because she's horrific.

ellenanora5 · 21/03/2018 21:23

I'd have grassed Liv up family code or not, the whole thing is ridiculous, and now she's going to drink again even though it could kill her, change the bloody record scriptwriters.

I wish they would get rid of Debbie, Victoria and David, three of the most unlikeable people ever.

Aaron is an angel when it comes to dealing with Rebecca. I would not be so kind!

southeastdweller · 21/03/2018 22:22

Chas pissed me off again tonight. Lucy Pargeter does her best but her character is very unappealing.

LoveMySituation · 21/03/2018 22:32

I don't know much about the criminal justice system, but I'm thinking it would be reasonably unlikely for Liv to go down, as it's her first offence(?), and even if she did, it would be YO, not an adult prison environmental they are all going on about. And like Pp, I fail to see how Lisa changing her statement would make any difference (she could even get done herself for wasting police time!) Surely a bunch of seasoned ex cons would know that ?

LoveMySituation · 21/03/2018 22:34

Environment. Though mental is appropriate Grin

bonfireheart · 21/03/2018 22:36

The actress playing Chas looks so bored. Not that I blame her.
Aaron has always craved a family of his own and right now he's got his half-sister who he's only known for two years, his cheating boyfriend, a child that isn't his, boyfriend's ex-mistress, and mum's ex-boyfriend now current boyfriend all to content with. The lad needs to go away by himself for a bit.
Wonder if the Dingle's will be so quick to dob Debbie in when they find out about the acid atfack?

QueenDaisy · 22/03/2018 09:30

Liv isn’t actually a Dingle, either by blood or marriage.

Susiesoap7 · 22/03/2018 09:58

Please get rid of Debbie, her face makes me depressed, Ridiculous story line!

Hygge · 22/03/2018 16:56

Susie I agree, I said before that I don't like the acid attack storyline.

It's trivialised the damage acid attacks can do (just so they can restore the actor's looks in later episodes) and I doubt in real life Debbie would be allowed to get away with it because she "never mentioned acid" so that makes her less to blame.

I do think they need to get Debbie out of the programme now, she's also not a likeable character, she always looks utterly miserable and her storylines are always depressing.

The Dingle code will cover Debbie, but the show itself needs to follow through properly on this storyline. Not by having Joe Tate persecute her but properly, with a realistic arrest and prison sentence for a really serious crime.

ZibbidooZibbidooZibbidoo · 22/03/2018 20:20

Oooooh! How beautiful was that punch? Marvellous. I’ve rewound and watched it again 3 time Grin

southeastdweller · 22/03/2018 20:23

The Dingle code will cover Debbie

Yep, it's going to happen (I'm predicting, not a spoiler), which is really annoying. She gets away with everything and I bet Ross will forgive her and they'll be back together again by Christmas. Such a horrid character.

ZibbidooZibbidooZibbidoo · 22/03/2018 20:28

The code doesn’t apply to Ross. He isn’t a Dingle so doesn’t have to adhere to any code. He can call the police on her.

PrincessScarlett · 22/03/2018 21:39

Joe loves her! What will Debbie do now?
