Liv has a lot of potential as a character but the writers are determined to make Gabby a big character- she's like something off Grange Hill/Byker Grove with her teenage "ishoos".

Think her name was Jo, but yep it's all the one farm.

I actually really like liv but it surprises me that she is being such a pushover with gabby. It’s not her personality. I don’t like it. Maybe she will find her voice again and tell the whole story about the ketamine etc and tell gabby she wants nothing to do with her.

I was hoping for a nice friendship/dynamic between Liv and Jacob that wasn't the usual boy gets teenage girl pregnant etc etc storylines that soaps repeat.

It was so good tonight. Loads going on. I like the way the same people are involved in different stories at the same time.

Rhona is going to be upset about Chas.

Debbie Dingle needs to die

I actually like Debbie but I know I'm in the minority.

I like her too jane! Although I don’t know why as she is a knob I know her and Ross are awful to each other but I want them to be together. I think they’re soulmates. I love Ross and just want him to be happy. He looked so vulnerable this evening.

I'd rather Ross and Debbie got together than Debbie and Joe.
I've always had a soft spot for Ross and think sometimes the actor has been wasted with silly storylines. He broke my heart in the scenes when they brought Finn's body home.

I'd like Ross to have a strong male friendship either with Aaron or Robert.

Yes Aaron is a bit lost friendship wise now that aduum is gone. Him and Ross would be good mates I think. I also enjoyed the touching scenes with Ross and Cain two stubborn arseholes sulking at each other across a table.

I like Debbie. I would prefer her with Ross

So do we think that Joe really loves Debbie (Graham seems to think so) and he's hoping by blackmailing her to be with him she we eventually like him? Warped I know but with a dad like Chris Tate he doesn't know how to be normal.

I think there's a lot of potential to develop Joe's character and he came across more than one dimensional tonight which is promising.

I suspect you’re right princess. I think Joe doesn’t know how to love normally and this is his messed up way of trying to cling on to the one person he actually did have feelings for. In his world he controls every aspect of his life. Off he wants a piece of land, it’s his, just bulldoze the buildings out of his way. The same with Debbie, if he wants her he will have her and he can’t see that it’s not actually the point of a relationship. The point is not possession of the other person.

David is awful. I didn’t like Tracey when she was first in it but she’s grown on me and deserves better than him!

What have I missed wrt Rhona and Paddy? Why is it such a big deal for Rhona that paddy and chas are having a baby? I know they went out in the past but she’s been married since paddy!

When Rhona was with Paddy she wanted to have a baby but nothing was happening and they decided to adopt instead. Then she found out about his affair with Tess and that was that!
