Haven’t caught up with this week’s episodes yet but if I’m reading correctly that Paddy is helping Robert that is slightly ridiculous considering Robert once tried to kill him and it was a particularly grisly attempt (I was sorry Paddy survived). Mind you Ross shooting Robert in cold blood also seems to have been forgotten. Emmerdale should market itself as the ultimate reform school where even would be murderers are transformed.

Robert did rid us of the god awful Katie so that is a major plus point for him

Pete and Ross have forgiven Moira very quickly.

Robert has been awful to Aaron but I think the whole post-Christmas storyline has been that Robert is now more "mature" and grown up - helping Alex with Aaron's birthday, taking off his wedding ring, looking after Seb and Rebecca, helping cook for Alex and repeatedly telling Aaron to be with Alex.

I'd like to know what all those women see in Paddy, and Marlon for that matter.

I wish Robert would bump those two off - I've always disliked Paddy and Marlon - both bad actors and they have been in Emmerdale now for so long.

Didn't Ross make his debut stealing Laurel's car and her child? and was very menacing to her - increasing her descent into alcoholism? I can never get over how Cain treated Kerry's daughter so I can't feel the love for him that others do.

Oh no - not Robron again. I hate these storylines that go on and on for ever. Usually these "big story" weeks turn out to be a load of rubbish. Can't say there are any storylines that grab me at the moment - more hammy rubbish from the apparent sex gods Paddy and Marlon, blackmail with Tracy and the electrician, the nonsense of Laurel supposedly fancying Bob, Gabby & Liv getting drunk and being horrible.... yawn, yawn.

Yes Ross did do that to Laurel Kakashi, but of course in Soapland everyone is forgiven everything eventually!

I do wish Gabby could go, it was so much better when she was out of it recently she adds nothing, all her story-lines are the same and she is just a horrid, stroppy, boring teen.

Is it not illegal for that handyman to be doing all that electrical work in David's shop? I thought any electrical work had to be done by someone with a certificate now (He's already messed it up once, why hasn't David got a real electrician in?)

Pete brought tears to my eyes tonight

Am one of the few people who likes Pete. It's just that the writing for him has always been poor and apart from "affair" storylines they don't do much else with him.

Really don't know what the fuss is about, Ross ' s face doesn't look that bad, fed up of this story line.

I don't like the storyline either - it's so dark and not nice to watch. I don't watch eastenders and I stopped watching Corrie when they lost the humour that previously made it good.
Emmerdale used to be lighter, yes they were some 'grittier' storylines but they were offset by other lighter ones. Now it just seems to be so dark and depressing.
Affairs are out of the blue and not convincing - the zac/Joanie one was awful. Bob and laurel out of nowhere. I think I only stay to see Robron back together now and I still miss Val!

I just want to grab hold of Ross and say. For gods sake man up!!
Please get rid of Debbie, stick her in jail, sick of her ham acting

I agree minor. Ross's face really doesn't look bad at all to me. There's no way everyone would be looking so shocked about it. I think their make up department needs help as I'm sure in real life acid burns are WAY worse, and would merit all this upset.

I also agree the recent affairs have been ridiculous, that I'm only watching for robron at the moment, and that I still miss Val!

Did anyone else think Eric looked younger and sprightlier than he ever has in the soap when he came back from hols? How old is he actually?

Acid attacks are just dreadful - but agree with Susiesoap Ross's face isn't that bad. My teen son has bad acne, tried Accutane, dreadful side effects and it didn't work for him so he is tuck with acne - he piped up and commented when Ross was in hospital about his face and neck is a worse to look at. Ross looks like he came off a bike and scraped one side of his face.
