Hello Dolores.

Did you think we were making anti-American comments?

We were all judging that a man with multiple "baby mommas" for his 9 kids is a dick irrespective of his nationality.

Only1scoop · 18/01/2018 00:35

Scratch her eyes out Sole

weetabix07 · 18/01/2018 02:21

Andrew dapper and Johnny are terribly boring as are Jess Ashley n genuine.

I love Ann as she doesn't fuck around. Also don't mind Courtney and the other American lady whose name escapes me. I find the rest of them really really boring.

It was more interesting when IW was in IMO.

user764329056 · 18/01/2018 03:02

It has become a bit of a dull CBB so far I think, needs a bit of a shake-up, dynamic might change depending on who leaves Friday maybe, although if it’s someone bland like Jonny leaving it’ll hardly be noticeable, it’s not really grabbing me this year, needs something extra

WaitrosePigeon · 18/01/2018 06:25

I’m bored of it

areyoubeingserviced · 18/01/2018 07:19

I am a bit bored too.
i’ve got to admit that it was compelling viewing when IW was there.
They need to give men a task which involves a discussion on issues

BeyondWW · 18/01/2018 08:39

I don't think it'd be so dull if they weren't focussing on the lads and the showmance in the editing...

MrsJayy · 18/01/2018 08:59

I dont think it was interesting when IW was in Thread was buzzing about india but IW was really dull and fake.

picklemepopcorn · 18/01/2018 09:00

The lads conversations aren't very interesting. Possible because of Andrew. He's not very bright, and he dominates the conversation.

Do you think the girls are secretly relieved that the presence of Ann dampens things down? I think there is a lot of peer pressure on young women to be one of the lads, and actually they may not much have wanted to.

I think there are probably still lots of interesting conversations going on - India was never particularly part of them, and said they were dull - but we're not getting to see them because it's only an hour and we have to sit through the ladz bantz. All the housemates I find interesting are still in there, but not being shown much.

I was interested in the comments about Rachel being two-faced, in being polite to Ann and talking to her, and then saying she found her annoying. As she is not one of the 'I speak as I find and I don't care if I upset people' gang, presumably she's just doing what most normal people do? I guess she could keep the negativity to herself but then she'd be duller to watch!

MrsJayy · 18/01/2018 09:45

Not much to Ashley really. Did Andrew really say he was trying to carve a career for himself did I read that here or was it onBbots wtf career is he after ?

Missrabbitneedsabreak · 18/01/2018 10:24

They said that on BOTS mrsjay. Totally agree with what you said upthread about IW by the way, she wasn't particularly intetesting to watch just caused interesting debate. Everyone on here said they wanted her to go because it was the IW show but now loads complaining that it was more interesting with her on it!

I think Andrew is a tosser but I want him to stay because he's part of what's making it interesting to watch, IMO because he's become a bit of a pantomime villain and because I'm interested in the dynamic between him and courtney.
I still like Shane/ Courtney. I think to be fair to him he's got nobody else to talk to in the evenings so has to mix with the ladz and I think he still brings common sense to some of the nonsense they harp on about.

I really don't like Ann and I think I'd hate her if I was in the house as she brings the mood down with her judgemental condescending ways. And it's not fair that she demands everyone goes to bed. Yes it must be annoying to sleep with the light on but then don't sign yourself up for a show that necessitates sharing a bedroom then! I feel like she's probably dampening the experience for many in there as they are constantly censoring themselves in front of her. But I think she should stay because she's intetesting to watch.

I like Rachel. I don't think she was goading Ann previously I think she was just trying to spark up an interesting debate. I'd like to see more political debating and really want to hear more from Maggie and her stories!

John Barnes might be a legend but he's boooooooring. it would make no difference to the show if he went. I'd like to see him out and dapper because he's a nob, and brings no interest to the show.

I also think Jess is being fake. I said this a while ago. She's being totally different to how she was on love island. Unless, perhaps she's being positively influenced by the intelligent women in there to behave in a more civilised and grown up way.

Ashley and ginuwine are so dull. It seems like everyone thinks the same. Hilarious that they are probably doing the whole showmance thing to win votes but it will probs be their downfall.

I think the difference between this year and previous years is that there's nobody in there who arrogantly "tells it like it is" and causes arguments for arguments sake. It's refreshing. Also liking the lack of "who said this bitchy comment about this housemate" games. They get so dull and it's better when the housemates don't know everything that's going on

BeyondWW · 18/01/2018 10:30

"Unless, perhaps she's being positively influenced by the intelligent women in there to behave in a more civilised and grown up way"

I'd say it's that - on programmes like love island you are encouraged to behave in a certain way (especially in the case of a glamour model). I can understand - I think if I went on it I'd try to be the life and soul of the party, but my laid back BB performance would be much more "me". Doesn't mean either of them is "fake" - just that people who aren't walking stereotypes behave differently in different situations!

picklemepopcorn · 18/01/2018 10:43

Maybe she's trying to grow up. She seems very aware of her lack of experience and knowledge in comparison with the older women, and maybe wants to learn from them. I would be hanging around with the older women if I was there!

Missrabbitneedsabreak · 18/01/2018 10:48

Sorry for long post! Didn't realise. Ha stream of consciousness. ^I meant ex on the beach not love island re Jess

BeyondWW · 18/01/2018 10:51

Oh yeah Grin my point still stands though, I think on 'young' shows like that, you're expected to behave a certain way.

Missrabbitneedsabreak · 18/01/2018 10:55

Yes you're probably right. They will have agents telling them how to behave and the producers will be stirring things up etc. There's a lot of alcohol involved in ex on the beach too which no doubt fuels things

SinisterBumFacedCat · 18/01/2018 11:30

I thought Ann's diary room speech on the what to protest about was bollocks frankly, she was praising ideals that would have been viewed as quite liberal and progressive at the time, which doesn't chime with her natural stance. However I do like her nighties.

BeyondWW · 18/01/2018 11:36

Re the conversation upthread that she should wear a bra, I'm actually happy she doesn't. Nice to have some representation on tv of what older boobs actually look like (and nice that she isn't so bothered by being in there that she is wearing one to bed when she wouldn't normally)

Chipstick10 · 18/01/2018 12:22

I have said it before and I will say it again. I think Meghan will be a disaster for the Royal family. I think her background is a problem. I totally agree with Ann on that issue.

LloydColeandtheCoconuts · 18/01/2018 12:45

A disaster how Chipstick?

sheldonesque · 18/01/2018 12:45

You see, for me, I don't think Rachel is trying to initiate an interesting debate. She will ask something of Ann, knowing full well that she may/does have controversial opinions on the matter. She waits for the piley on and then surveys her handiwork with a smug sneer. If she wanted a debate she should talk instead of silently enjoying the atmosphere she creates.

There are many other housemates who have some interesting opinions or conversation but she continues to needle away at Ann. It is unpleasant to watch. For example she could have challenged IW. Instead she pussied around them, fawning away.

As for Ann's wee talk in the diary room? I agreed with it.

And I bloody love her nighties and in particular, I want neeeeeeed the salmon one Grin
