If only she could persuade BA to join her!!

I expect that SCD would like MK to do the show but I do think she'd be mad to go on it because she really doesn't need the TV exposure. She's pretty high profile in terms of social media, newspaper gossip and through OG and Corrie already and what's more it would be absolutely awful if she was a completely dreadful dancer. Can you imagine how humiliating it would be to have two left feet and look really awkward and embarrassed? Knowing SCD they would pair her up with whoever they considered to be the hottest male dancer on the show and then the gossip mongerers would go bananas. It's obvious they are desperate to imply that MK and her husband's marriage is in difficulties - that story about MK getting back in touch with her on-screen boyfriend by tweeting happy birthday to LP is just ridiculous - it was his birthday for goodness sake!

Sorry, just ranting a bit. I do hate social media rubbish gossip. I'm so glad I don't do twitter or facebook.

I'm with you flower I'd love to see BA do the show - he wouldn't, of course, but I bet he can do a marvellous Botofoga not to mention a little Samba roll! Oh just imagine CJ and a little Samba roll!

As much as I would love to see BA on prime time tv, it's never going to happen . Don't hold out much hope for his CW pilot either esp if it has thesame budget constraints as Reign obviously had but good luck to him for tonight's Offies.

I agree Rhu I also think MK would be mad to go SCD right now. She has now created quite good publicity re being an actress and I assume wants to continue on that, and it always seems to me when actors or actresses go on SCD it is usually when things are slowing down re acting work! I think you're right too that the gossip columns would have a field day if she was teamed up with one of the glam male dancers.

As for BA I'm not keen on him doing it either, once again thinking of his acting career. Seems to have enough trouble getting really good roles offered. Don't much like the sound of this Skinny Dip pilot.

No I agree with you all I wouldn’t really want him to do it. Just a flight of fancy seeing him every week as he certainly looked as if he could dance in OG one when singing with Molly.

I also am not sure about Skinny Dip and don’t know how to watch it anyway! I only watch ordinary tv channels as don’t know how to get the others except catch-up

Morning all. Much milder here today thankfully. I was tidying up in the garden yesterday after the storm and everywhere was frozen solid.

I reckon tbe BBC would want MK on SCD as she's a recognisable name. Much as I love the programme, there are fewer and fewer celebrities I know straight off these days. Like it or not, it's as much about popularity as skill, certainly in the early stages.

Agree that the media would have a field day as she would definitely be paired with one of the hot younger male professionals. She wouldn't be dancing with Anton now, would she?

PS I think that American pilot sounds dreadful, but surely not as dreadful as Reign was.

If I've got my facts right, LP is in a film about Gandhi (playing an Indian police officer) which will be released next month. Can't imagine I could find anyone to go to see that at the cinema with me. Might end up as a solo trip!

Just checked up on the Gandhi release date and it's now showing as June.

When I saw this one, I immediately thought of Our Girl and the demise of Elvis!!

Nah, ilove, the really disappointing ending to OG 3 was discovering that obnoxious brat with the everlasting phone battery hadn't drowned after all, and she got safely back to Nepal. If something bad had happened to her, I might have been slightly more reconciled to the demise of Elvis. Every cloud, and all that. But I didn't even get that consolation.
