I certainly am

I don't think it's a good as it was when it first started, and it can be a tad predictable at times but I still love this show

DorynownotFloundering · 21/01/2018 20:52

Goosey I blub at every birth they show.

DorynownotFloundering · 21/01/2018 20:53

I predict Nurse Phyllis & Sgt Grumpy-pants get together.

Oldraver · 21/01/2018 20:54

I've had my first CTM hissy fit...OH calls before DS goes to bed but DS came in the living room shouting down the phone.

At least as soon as OH knew I was watching CTM he said he would leave me to it Grin

Springiscoming123 · 21/01/2018 20:55

im the same the only programme that they DONT bother me

bobstersmum · 21/01/2018 20:57

Never ever watched it before tonight but I am in floods! So touching!

Springiscoming123 · 21/01/2018 20:57

you must watch from the beginning, best series ever

DorynownotFloundering · 21/01/2018 20:59

Aww Nadines dance school bought for the price of a mink!!

CannotEvenThink · 21/01/2018 20:59

Is Trixie going to shag the dentist? She doesn't exactly look thrilled packing her suitcase.

Farmerswife36 · 21/01/2018 21:00

Loved it . Iv loved every series

Farmerswife36 · 21/01/2018 21:01

Trixie is very covered up . I suspect Helen shot these episodes whilst pregnant ?

IrenetheQuaint · 21/01/2018 21:01

I thought I was going to make it through without snivelling until the Jewish men started singing the lament for the dead...

DMCWelshCakes · 21/01/2018 21:03

I was fine until the singing. And that's the first time I've ever sobbed at the sight of a Strudel.

Threetoedsloth · 21/01/2018 21:05

Oh goodness me, complete sodden mess here.

DorynownotFloundering · 21/01/2018 21:08

Yep, singers & strudel = snotty mess.

And Phyllis has def got the Sgt's heart!

I was in tears too. Watching with my Mum, and she couldn't carry on at the death bed scene after watching my Dad die two years ago.

For me this is the best thing on TV.

WLAH · 21/01/2018 21:09

Love it. Bout only program I watch

KnockMeDown · 21/01/2018 21:11

Was it just me or did that hour go exceptionally quickly?

KindDogsTail · 21/01/2018 21:20

It is lovely and I have been waiting for it.

For some strange reason in tonight's episode someone has gone mad with teal blue. Teal blue interior walls; teal doors; teal windows; teal uniforms; teal kitchen; even a teal blue pashmina (which weren't around then)! One of the things I normally like is the period detail so the teal infection was disappointing.

Also, imo it was a more modern idea that for Trixie to go off to a hotel with her dentist she would find the happiness she had been missing in her cage, and that she had been wrong to see his expectations as showing a lack of respect for her.

Toddlerteaplease · 21/01/2018 21:50

Presumably Trixie is going to get pregnant from her weekend with the dentist, so Helen George's bump can be written into the series and it covers her leaving.

KindDogsTail · 21/01/2018 21:59

That would make sense Toddler!

DorynownotFloundering · 21/01/2018 21:59

Kindogs I noticed that too, as Trixie is usually a splash of colour against other drabness.

I also didn't get Trixie's change of heart but maybe she has decided she does love Tom so why wait?
